Afghan 90 (realseeds) outdoor grow

Wondering if anyone here has grown these in cooler climates and can offer some insights, including time from flower to chop?

I am in the northeast doing an outdoor grow and am starting to wonder if they are a little more sensitive to cooler nights than some other strains. My intention is to get the bags onto some foam board and then wrap the bags with thin foil-bubble insulation to try to keep the roots as warm as possible overnights. I'm trying my best to avoid having to set up lights in the garage except as last resort (w/ bags the two big girls are over 7') as it is a less than sterile environment.

The "family" photo includes a clone of one of the big girls as well as a Nangarhar (looking girlish unlike the 3 boys of last summer).

Your plants look good friend and thanks for sharing. I wouldn't wrap the roots in plastic or anything like that because it would block the oxygen the roots need. That's the main reason for using fabric pots. If it were me I would get one or a couple of bales of hay to keep the temperatures stable naturally. Cover pots and all with hay and you would be surprised how well it holds heat. Keep us posted.

Interesting idea, will consider. Still think set them on the foam board (with a few drainage holes) to protect from cold from patio pavers
