Good genetics, good sustratum, EM and nothing else.
I think that very often we try to cultivate our plants in such a sophisticated way that finally the results are mediocre. I want to show you the Afgan Kush, from the Spanish bank Advanced Seeds (advancedseeds.com) I cultivated in a very simple way.
First of all I germinated very late (end of may) and I left the plant in a half a gallon container for 3 weeks. I used organic growing fertilizer from the same company (Kaya Solutions) and, of course, EM (microorganisms Agrobacterias.com ). I cannot understand a culture without using these little beings, these bacteriae, that increase the quality and quantity like crazy.
In the mean time I made a hole in my yard that I refilled with 50 liters of good soil. And after the 3 weeks I mentioned before, I simply put my little Afgan Kush in it. Before doing this, I watered the soil with more microorganisms and again a little bit of growing fertilizer (kaya solutions). I never fertilized my plant again until the beginning of august: the flowering period. Then I only used organic flowering fertilizer ( same brand) twice reaching an EC of 1,8 milisiemens. Just doing this I got the buds I am showing.
My motto is: feed your soil; not your plants. This saying comes from the “Korean natural farming” and it is a millenary form to obtain the very best from our cultures.
As I said, just look at these buds and make up your mind. An excellent strain, a good soil and microorganisms. These little things eat the organic soil and then convert it in a much easier form for the roots to assimilate it. In other words: it is like feeding your plants with smash fertilizer.
My experience is that using this way I almost double my production and quality. You guys, don’t have Advanced Seeds in the USA. But believe, they are some unique!
