i noticed some funky smell and now see that decent roots are forming but the color is kinda yellow to brown with only some a nice white, my store adviser tells me some peroxide will fix it but i'm not sure what to do with it, dilute it and add to the cloner water i understand, then do i run it and just leave it in there or change the water. any help appreciated. jc

since your in aero, h202 will be alright to use, normally if your in DWC and other such water methods you want to avoid h202 due to it killing off both good and bacterial.
When bacteria that does not get killed comes back it ends up coming back worse than what it was before and leaving the plants defenseless.

Get some sm90 to fix your problem.... fix it fast cause you will end up having bad problems with your plants.

Your entire system has to be cleaned out too otherwise the bacteria will come back.

How cool is your water?
How often is your timer set to water and how long?

Root rot only happens when temps are too warm or not enough oxygen, example..... draining and flooding your plants too long.

thanks stich, i wasn't real clear on my situation, this is happening in my cloner box made out of a rubbermaid container, got the plan from somewhere around this site, when i lift the lid i can see that the color of the roots is not white like the first batch of cuts roots where so i wanted to just add something to the water in the cloner or take them out individually and dip them, i have been running an aquarium heater in the box and temps are around 75, put some powerclone in the water, is the sm90 something i can find anywhere or a gro store item? thanks, jc

thanks for the info bozo, that answers it, and i think your right. i will just pot em', i was just trying to get the roots to develope a bit more to ensure survival, looks like waiting could be a bad choice. i think i recognize your cloner pic's from the thread i found about making one those bad boys. jc
