Advice on buying a mini-fridge

Hey guys,

I'm moving into a new townhome in the middle of august and am gonna start shopping for a few things.

I'm a uni student and i'm getting a minifridge cause my townhome is shared by 3 people, and i would just like one for cold water on those hungover mornings, personal stashes of beer and various other drinks.

(don't really need to be for food)

maybe a good freezer, becuase i plan to buy an Illadelph Glycerin coil bong and keep the coil in a minifridge in my room so one of my roomies isn't drunk and break it getting food at 4am out of the community fridge

price limit is $300.

I value the opinion of other tokers so lets see some of the MOST BADASS minifridges for my price range!!! Whoo!!!! :joint::joint:

I bought this same fridge about 10 years ago and it's running like it's brand new. The freezer part can hold about 4, 1 liter bottles and the rest of the fridge can handle almost 3 cases of beer (cans). I love it and it's about $100-120 at wally world. I paid about 140 for mine at the time, quite efficient also, about $25 a year to run and it's got an adjustable thermostat that's pretty precise. Good luck on whatever you decide.

thanks for all you guys' advice!

I'm probably gonna end up with that black one from wal mart!

the stainless steel $299 one is nice and all but if i can basically have the same fridge without it lookin all fancy schmancy i'll love to cut the price down to that of $120!

that's around $180 more i can spend on the bong yay life's good

Thanks all!:woohoo::woohoo:

I'm pro american as far as product purchase goes but the GE is made in China as well as the Haier reefer unit, that Haier is best, runs better, cools better & btw don't be lazy, have a look in the yellow pages & online for used equipment sellers ~ Craigslist is excellent for used appliances, there must be a hundred of those fridges available at the turnover of every college semester in a university town.......
