Advice for odor control while working in the room

Looking to get the odor situation handled. Everything is good when my cab door is closed, but when I have to get in there for daily stuff, it gets pretty bad.

Any suggestions? I was thinking of getting an ozone generator for those times, or some ona gel.

Usually I only have the door open for maybe 30 min at a time, sometimes an hour.

Hepa filter, or charcoal filter and fan. Peace GS

ps. I have a Bionaire hepa filter sold at Wallyworld. I use it for my smoking room, but it would likely work for you. The replacement filters are also sold there. Peace GS

I was looking at those, at wallyworld actually just today actually. I went online and read mixed reviews on them for this kind of smell. You think that's all it will take? Certainly looks a better option price-wise.

This is exactly the reason why I have always kept all my grow cabs in the same room (or closet) and then put a carbon scrubber outside of the cabs, instead of having filters inside of each cab, or something like that. When I open my cabs, nothing changes in terms of odor control.

That being said, I have had good luck covering up smells during harvest time, when my whole house smells, by using a Glade plugin in every room of the house. My advice is to use the Vanilla Lavender aroma, which really seems to cover up all the smells and "coalesce" them into a single, floral smell that definitely just smells like something that would come from a plugin air freshener.

FWIW.

I use an ozone box for times I am in the garden and there is no negative pressure(tent open).
Works a treat.

My sealed cab has a Can66 size carbon filter mounted up high, with a 6" fan on a speed controller pulling through the filter, and blowing down on my plants, through a 90 degree elbow, and a short run of ducting. In the middle of the ducting it a "T" fitting, that vents to the outside of the box.
When I open the cab door, I cap the inside duct, and pull the outside cap, which is always installed otherwise. I ramp up the fan to full hustle, and can work nearly odor-free, this way.
For longer projects, or harvest, I have black poly, that makes an expanded, tent like area, in front of my cab. As long as there is negative pressure, I'm odorless. I can take a better shot if you'd like. This works very well for me, and avoids the "Oh shit" moment, when I open my cab!

Ozium spray neutralizes odors. I keep a can for times like you're saying, and spray a quick spray by the door just before opening it to go outside in case the neighbors are outside. Room is odor free when I open the door to go in. Ozium is cheap and works really well as a neutralizer rather than a cover up. I prefer the unscented. Good luck. -granger

Hate to say it but that Hepa filter don't do shit. I even got the extra odor control filter.

Hopefully I still have the receipt. Waste of $.

I am gonna def look into getting an ozone generator or that ozium.

ydijadoit- yes I'd be interested to so some more pics. Interested in your setup.
