Advanced Nutrients Thoughts and Questions

I started using Canna Products in my grows when I first started growing.. I had no problem with that... but a friend gave me some Advanced Nutrients Grow A&B and I have been trying these and OMG, my plants are SOOOO Happy!

A friend said Advanced Nutrients, (AN)are like a second rate nutrient set compared to Canna...Said they may grow the plants well, but the mass of the buds will not be very good with AN.

Well, I am posting this to find out if anyone has had any experience with AN in Flower?

The AN line of PH Perfect also state you do not need to PH your water any more as it does it for you...

Love to hear from someone who has experience and insight into this. Thanks.

advance works just fine. If u got the bottles Might as well use em.
Its there advertising that is bull shit. But the base nutes work fine.

what do you want to know about Using AN in flower?

Well, you know.. from the time you go out and buy all the equipment, lights, fans, ... the list is long.. and germinate seeds... and they pop.. and the little girls start reaching for the sky.. you have a lot of time and money into your grow.. so,
Having said that... I want the best for my girls...the best I can afford with my limited know how...
A friend who grows a lot said AN is not all that great for flower.. will not produce big buds...
So, not to take away from the shear joy of putting a seed into the medium and watching it grow and mature... but the whole point is big buds.. quality buds... so if what he said is true.. I would be wasting time, effort and money.

I am totally happy with the AN Sensi Grow...my plants are BEAUTIFUL.. all the leaves are PRAYING! ...growth is awesome.. so, I am wondering if anyone has used the AD Sensi Bloom and what their opinion was of the end product?

Hi I have no experience with advanced nutrients, I do have a lot of experience with hydroponic growing as I grow all my veges hydro to.

When my canna nutes ran out a year or so ago I was lazy getting some more and I used the powdered nutes I use for my veges at the same ratios as on the feed chart (which are around 1000 times cheaper than canna) I still used there rizo, enzimes and pk and my results were idtnetical, I have since replaced the enzimes with ones that are sold as pool cleaning enzimes ( I thread on here years ago prooved they were the same thing). I havent found anything cheaper to replace the rizo or pk as base chemicals are unavailable here.

The rather long winded point I am trying to make is that you probably wont notice any difference in your end product due to your base nutrient.

Don't listen to that stuff man. They will work just fine if not better then some other nutes out there. U will get big beautiful buds from just about every nute base out there. It depends more on the person in charge of mixing those nutes that will fuck it up more then the nutes themselves.

I spent allot of money on AN, GH and others.. waste of allot of money.
Jacks formulas (dry powder)... mix 1 part jacks pro and .67 parts calcium, mix with RO (best) or tap (if ppms allow). $50 for 25lbs of calcium and I cant figure out the price of the Jacks Pro.. still, less expensive than the others... there is still more than half of my first purchase of 25lbs of each, years ago ..

So true I been using the sensi coco base is all for seedlings to finish no adds works great didn't spend tons of money blah blah shits fine don't believe all the neg that comes with AN just use it it works well. B

Ur friend is just a stuck up ass hat who thinks he knows.... bet his 2nd choice he would reccomend hng ....im not a fan of an personally. .. just to many different bottles with fancy labels used to market to unsuspecting newbs... but i have used them in the passed they do work excellent... i got a few friends who love sensi grow bloom ... dont listen to your friend he dont know what he is talking about. .. and to be honest there really aint no 2nd rate nute they all work if used right... only 2nd rate growers... i say if u are happy with an stick with it... just dont listen to the guy selling it... he is prob more full of shit then ur friend will try to convince u u need 20 bottles when u really only need 3-5 max..
Also would like to mention homies using an that i know an see all crush it 2+ a light...

I used the AN Super nutrients for years. Bloom Aqua and Grow Aqua, superboost and bud blaster. I loved them. Then for some reason the stopped making everything but the bud blaster. So I switched to Super Natural which was basically the same stuff. Then SN changed their formula and it went to shit. I now use the veg+bloom line. Use what works for you and ignore the fancy ad labels. Look at what's in it, do some research and if you like it, go for it. Bottom line it's your grow do what makes you comfortable. Take advice from friends, especially ones that grow, cause they can get jealous fast. Hope it works out for you.

The best indoor flowers I've grown have been with Advanced. I use the iguana juice line and a bunch of additives.
Canna grows nice herb for sure, but I think advanced is better. It's also not that expensive, most dosages are 2 ml per liter as opposed to nearly double that from most nutrient brands.

Well, my last 2 grows were with Canna.. But I got some AN Veg A&B new for free and been feeing my girls.. All the leaves are praying!!! All the plants look perfect with all 7 leaves or more...My bloom is looking way good. I only start counting my flower days from the day the first flowers begin to show..not from switching from 18/6 to 12/12... but since flowering started everything looks awesome!!!! All plants loaded with bud sites.. and leaves praying...no droopy leaves... so, they look great.. but will now know what is up till I see the cut and know if my buds are small or not... and that is what my friend said, he said AN does great but small buds.... so I will not know till the end... was hoping someone in here had been experienced.. many grows with AN and knew the difference between AN and others... At any rate, loving the info everyone is posting.. hope to hear more!

Not only that, but I am finding the Auto PH is awesome!!! No more mixing, no more testing.. just add the nutes and FEED THE GIRLS!

You can achieve amazing results with ANY brand of nutrient, even with MiracleGro, IF you figure out how to make it work...Why do you think everyone here uses different brands and they'll all post pics of huge colas and swear the brand they use is thee best?
