advanced nutes in conjunction with others

im considering checking out the hype myself and purchasing the iguana juice grow and bloom by itself(shits expensive!)

will be using promix amended with castings, a 1/4 dose of ff marine cuisine, and perlite.......

will also be using liquid karma catalyst for added humic and fulvic acids.....

will advanced nutes take well to the amended ff marine cuisine and LK cat??

I think so be careful with that Marine Cuisine as it can burn if not properly mixed. I would not make the mix as strong as i seen A/N's stuff is powerful/potent. I wouldn't probaly use full dosage at first and see how they do. I wouldn't worry about the liquid karma as much. Good Luck Jubei

I just ordered AN's 2 part flower with big bud and voodoo juice. I hope they work out as advertised, but a word of advice, I always have better results when I do not mix different nutrients during the grow and stick with one brand. I have tried pbp, ionic, gh 3 part, floranova, organic teas with citric acid, guano tea and bloom boosters. Chemical nutrients like gh 3 part and floranova do exceptionally well in hydro and soilless for me but outside nothing beats guano and citric acid for fast acting results. Organics can burn your outdoor plants easily and chemical nutes should be avoided outdoors in my opinion. I do like green fuse and ka bloom. It will be interesting to see how the Advanced Nutrients works out. They are by far the most expensive.

Good luck with that.

So far I am geting great results using AN - however I would tell you to keep watch on your PPM - as mixing mine in a small batch sent mine flying & raised my pH as well / if U don't have a PPM - i suggest U go 1/3-1/2 strength to see what your plants can or can't take.

Good blessings on your crops

thanks everyone

Fred, if i switch nutes ill be going for the hornbys iguana juice which is supposed to be all organic.......since its organic there shouldnt be much salts and such in it, should i still need a ppm meter?

1. I don't know about Iguana juice as i am not using it - I do think I remember hearing it is a self pH adjusting

2. PPM = No i would think not - just watch the pH

I mixed a batch of everthing I had at the full strengths  they suggested & that's when it skyrocked & it gave me a quick blast & then lock up - after that is when I got to check it - to be true-full it was the first time i ever checked my PPM / kinda cool-fun - but I can't tell U it's nessasary  -

some of this is new to me yet / in 1973  when I graduated from Ag trade school we didn't have pocket pH-PPM-Temp meters
