Adjusting my room

Hey Folks, I'm looking for some good advice - I'm adjusting my new flower room.

The room is aprx. 7 x 9 feet and i'm growing in a DPS system aprx 4 X 7 feet accommodating 24 4gallon pots

Atm i'm running 4 digital 600w hps lamps with add-just-a-wings but thinking of switching into 2x600 +1x adjustable 1000w to get a better footprint, something like this.. (the arrow is the door into the room)

I'm vegging for about 2-3 weeks before flowering and i think with this arrangement of ligtht i could start vegging with the center lamp, then the two end-lamps and finally with all three..
I have always been growing with 600 watters so i haven't got any experience with the 1000 watters
Anybody have experience mixing 1000 and 600 watters?
I'm expecting the same overall heat output from the lamps, should i expect the 1K to produce more heat than 2 600 lamps?

One more Q, i usually use the 600W GIB Xtreme Output Flower Spectre, these have a high output 98.000 lm but are very red, do you think i'll benefit from changing into something with more blue in it, like the Gavita Enhanced 600w?

3 600's similar to the right is what I would run. I think the 1k is overkill for sure.

My ballasts are adjustable and run at 600/750/1kw. If I had a setup like that, I would run two 750's for most of the run, and switch it to two 1k's during peak flowering for 3 weeks. Then 750, then 600 for last 7 days.

Thank you, I ran it a while ago with the 3x600w and got one 1g/w, I can see that 4 lights ain't better than 3 in this room, I actually think i'll yield more with three.. Still i would like to optimize this room perfectly and beat my previous record Do you think 2x1000W would yield more than 3x600W? If i were to run the setup with the 1k in the middle it would be adjustable too, so that it'll run 600w most of the grow then 750-1k-750 during peak..
Basically i've been running this setup for a couple of years and just seeking ways of improving it, and haven't got experience with the 1000 watters, they are rarely used here in Europe and are a lot harder to come by than the 600 watters..
How about bulbs, how would you guys compare a red high lumen output bulb and a bulb with a more mixed spectrum and about 10% less lumen?
Also do anyone got experience with supplemental lighting in the form of fluero's or LED's together with 600 or 1000 watt hps?

I don't think 2x1k would yield more than 3x600. I think the results would be similar honestly.. and if 1k's are harder to come by, and use more electricity, then I wouldn't bother at all.

I still wouldn't bother bumping up the middle light in peak flowering, but it could be worth a little experiment if you're curious.

I personally prefer the far red bulbs for a slight bump in yield versus the mixed spec that provide slightly better smoke but less of it. (in theory, I've not personally done a side by side with them)

I've not used supplemental lighting.
