I can't stop smoking weed. I started a little over a year ago now and I havnt gone a day without weed. I don't know why but I just feel frustrated and crazy when I dont smoke before I sleep.

I dont know how to stop. I think if I just stopped smoking for like a week it wouldnt be hard anymore but im having trouble commiting.

I may have OCD, that isn't my problem though. Every single one of my friends smokes weed. Even when I sell all of my glass, finish my stash, and try to commit to not smoking; I spend the entire day thinking about where I can find more weed. I eventually give in when I find my buddy has bomb purps to sell and tell myself I will postpone quitting until I finish the next sac. I think I just need something to keep myself busy and not thinking about weed.

Perhaps when classes start again you will have something more to fill your time.

I'm confused as to what you're looking for, because it seems like you have pretty much figured out what you need to do...

I was just thinking about this an hour ago and I've come to the conclusion people become addicted to things because they are chasing an emotion whereas people who do the same things do them because they want to enhance the thought process and feeling good is the result of thinking and deciphering something.

It is the equivalent to someone doing something just for money and someone else doing something to be creative and money being the end result.

I think you should find things that get your mind going and use herb to enhance the thinking process. BY doing this you will not need to smoke as much because once you puff and then start doing something creative and fulfilling, you will have feel good emotions that accompany what your doing when you finish and this would enhance the emotions that you get from the "high".

I don't think its a coincidence that the reason people relapse into being drug addicts is due to stress and needing something to make them feel good or "normal".

Also, being outside in the sun, being active, and eating whole foods will enhance the "high", make you more relaxed, and make the "high" last longer as well as come down gradually.

A study confirmed that I'm about 60% more likely to kill someone if I don't get high.

This study was sponsored by weed.

And where might that be?More importantly if such a place exists, why would you want to be there? My advice is to quit the erb for 3-4 weeks, then when you really become bored and funky feelin burn a fatty and never ever do that again..Your hooked for life bro..

Like ampersand said, GO ON A HOLIDAY! It's that simple.

Keep in mind that there is nothing in cannabis that is physically/chemically addictive so your "addiction" is actually nothing more than a strong desire - more a habit than a true addiction as is the case with tobacco.

I've found (and i see ampersand has too) that simply by going on a holiday and geographically removing myself from the source of temptation (buds) then I don't really waste much time thinking about it, because being geographically away from it I couldn't smoke it even if I wanted to. The first 2 or 3 days you still think about it a fair bit, but after that its a walk in the park.
