activated carbon

I was just wondering if any of these products will work with a carbon filter.

They'll work but, at $6-$15 a lb, you're getting reamed. Try Ebay. I got mine from a guy named thirdmillenium for $1.99 a lb. $2.35 after S&H.

shoot i cant find a lb of activated carbon like freezerboy for $1.99, however, the cheapest i could find is this but i dont know if it will work. Anybody know if these activated carbon will work?

I guess you mean you can't find that price for a single pound because I see it for even less than $1.99 in small quantities. Get a 10 pound supply. Granules are preferred to pellets for their greater surface area.
