Using FF Ocean Forest and Light Warrior in a 50/50 mix
hydro store was out of perlite so i got the Light Warrior, which
is peat moss with perlite-kinda chunky, very airy/light

Got 4 hashberry's and 2 durban poison's all in wet paper towles
in between plates
12 hrs later one of the HB crack and had a little tap root poking out
so into a cup it went.

This morning all the other seeds cracked and had tap roots,
so into the mix they go!
Only got the one pic of the first HB so far I'll update with more later.

Using bat guano for veg and budswell for flower with some Age Old Organics
bloom for back up.
BTW just noticed the water i bought has "Minerals added for taste" is that
ok to use for seedlings?

here's a bit of an update:
all seeds are in cups since sunday
still no stems poking thu the soil yet.
from what i hear/remember HB is a slow starter.
The durbans i don't know, only the second time i've
grown these, first time i did hyro and they died from
root rot/algae.
a few pics of my set up--oh yes using the hydrohut.

Hooray!!! I have little 5 sprouts poking up thru the soil mix!
one HB is being a little stubborn but i predict it'll come thru
in a day or two.
Even both durbans have sprouted, these were old seeds i purchased
about a year ago, kept them in in old toolbox--nice and dark, not in fridge.

one HB seedling didn't make, so i'm left with 3 HB's and 2 DP's
which is ok i kinda expected a 1 or 2 wouldn't make it, since
these seeds are a little old especially the Durban's-but the 2 Durban's
are doing great.
pic update:

Lookin good man. Cool to see another hydrohut grow. What kind of ventilation set up do you have in the hut?

Got a 172cfm vortex with a phat carbon filter
I think i got the filter at BGhydro, but on thier site
i think it's called a goblin or gremlin or somthing simular.
But when i got it and took it out of the packaging it has
'Phat' written on the dust filter--go figure.
dosen't really mater what it's called, just as it works, right?

everything looking good except for one Durban hasn't developed a true set of leaves, thier real tiny don't know if it will develope or not, might have to cull
this one.
Gonna transfer into 1 gal pots in a day or two, then i'll fire up the 400w.
It's been a week and only given them water.

UPDATE:
Transplanted all into 1 gal pots last night--first time i ever tranplanted.
One of the HB showed a tiny bit of yellowing and some wrinkled leaves,
possiable N defeciency? any ideas anyone?
Also the other HB's and the DP show a little leaf wrinkle as well but no yellowing.
I fired up the 400w and placed it about 13-14 inches above the plants.
Was a little scared i was gona light burn thats why i chose 13-14 inches.
Herd 12 inches for a 400w is ok, but you never know.
So this morning i checked my babies and they look great!
havn't added any nutes yet, maybe in a couple days i'll brew a weak guano tea if the yellowing persists.

OMG what a time i've had! i havn't posted any updates in while
cause i've been having all kinds of problms.

First I had yellowing on all my babies right after i transplanted into
larger pots.
I used the same mix i used before 50/50 FFOF and LightWarrior, but
i didn't add any guano, I sooo should have.
Then I had high temp problms.
Came home one day and it was 100F in my hydro hut--HOLY SHIT!
So I had crispy yellowing leaves, since then i bought a window fan
to blow cold winter air into the room the hut is in.
Temps are a little better thier between 74F and 85F but can peak up to
90F somtimes but not for long.
Then one day my roomie says "hey man why dont you vent up into the attic?"
"What, WE HAVE AN ATTIC!?" was my response.
Well you can imagine how surprised and stupid i felt.
I had no idea our house had an attic space.
Just moved in a couple months back into a sigle story ranch type home.
The attic space is quite small but enough to stick my vent hose into.
I had no idea we had one.
So i ordered a flange kit form BGhydro and as soon as it comes in it's going on.

So i cliped off most of the yellow leaves(ones that were more than 50% yellow) and brewed some guano and fed it to the plants.

Well you can imagine how bad the plants, so bad i didn't want to take pics.
Funny though, the durban was the most yellow but it was the most perky looking, even has some rust spots on the leaves which i think is not only
a N defecientcy but also MG and possibly Ca.

So i bought some Molasses to add to the guano brew and some CalMag.
Things are looking better, but i still have some yellowing and rust spots
on the Durban--pics to follow.
any advise would be appreciated.
