well i used 5g old non smokeable 3 years old weed... just to try it out...
shared the butter with some friends... and it's always the same... "i don't feel something" " I need more butter" so after 1 or 2 hours nobody was asking for more... lol had a lot of fun that night...

hi fellow Ace enthusiasts the buds are swelling nicely and are very solid, smelly and very very sticky.
I am so happy with their progress I will be cloning a pop corn bud tomorrow, yes I know its not normally done this late but this plant clones easily and I find the buds make very good clones, this one came from a pop corn bud too.
I will be working in the North of Australia for the next 3 weeks so the Blumat drippers will be looking after my lovely lady while I am away.
The first flush of pistols is just starting to brown and I can see her swelling up for the next flush of pistols. I hope to take her after the third flush, she should be really yellowed by then and super trippy.
I also have a Nevilles haze going just to try, she is going to have huge sticky colas but that meens nothing to me if the high is not super clear, trippy and not paranoic.
Well heres the pics she's truly pretty in my eyes.View Image View Image View Image View Image View Image

Stay high Tangwena

Tagwena, much respect to you. Your green thumb is shining through in these pictures. Salute to you. Good Luck on the Neville's, which is the greatest strain I have ever tasted and experienced. I hope to replace that memory with ace's lineup.

Wow thanks guys I hope I dont stuff it up now! I am away working and fishing and getting high, the best kind of work.
Mad Max i have found decarbing of the older cured buds does not result in any increase in power. It only seems of benefit on newly cured dried buds. Try the same buds without the decarb and compare it. But on younger dried buds its magic. I think time and cureing does the decarb for you already.Just an observation I have from a LOT of testing ha ha.
I took my pop corn bud clones away with me and I am carefully looking after them in a propagating humidi dome so hopefully I can post a pic if the clone successfully.
Thanks for the kind words of encouragement guys.
Peace Tangwena

Thanks Dubi I just hope the blu mat drippers have not clogged up while I have been away.
The Zamal should be getting close by the time I get back. The last time I was away for 4 weeks the drippers did a great job so fingers crossed.

pop corn bud clones

pop corn bud clones

I checked today and the zam clone in the front of picture one has a white stub of root protruding from the rockwool cube.
You can see that it was a weak sucker branch that I cut the top bud off of and cloned then i cloned what was left of the branch with 2 small buds on.
The plant I am flowering was grown from a similar bud I cut off prior to harvest when it became apparent that the plant was going to be good.
The others look dead but they will also sprout that is what happened last time I thought it had died.
The other pic is a zam in background and 2 nev haze foxtail buds I cut off the main bud.
I think at least one of the nev hazes is going to take also.
You have gotta love a sativa never stop growing even in flower.
I will post pics of the roots when they become obvious in a few days time.
Good genetics strong sativa genes.

Hi guys couldn't stay away back after 2 weeks hyped up on dexi's after driving non stop for 10 hours straight.
The blumats have done amazingly well as usual. The clone of the Zamaldelica is now 8 weeks flowering from buds starting its nearly ready! I cant believe how quick the clones flower out, love it.
The smell is heaps sweater than the last grow on low nutes, this grow I upped the feed to 1.8ec and hand watered the extra PK at 2.0ec twice, I dont think she will go another bloom she looks all done, really dense buds I cant believe how she has performed, lucky I have pop corn buds clones to go again.
If she only takes 8 or 9 weeks from clones its outstanding for the quality of the buds.
Also some pics of the Nev haze filling out, I recognise the smell even though its very sticky and the buds will be big.i am sure the high? will be low class, this weed is for the peasants just fucks you up but nothing intelligent will come out of it.
I will reserve judgment its still got 4 to 6 weeks to go. I had 2 phenos one very vigorous the other weedy and week smelling just majut in my opinion I dont think it will get any better, but I will give it every help and see what happens isn't it.
Heres the pics love that Zamal Tangwena

Hi Max when you trim off the suckers, the spindly little lower branches, just clone them these sativas grow from anything, if it was growing when you cut it off, it will clone, well at least 75% of them will. Waste not want not as they say.

nice idea that mate, I tend to re-veg the whole bottom of a plant but as I clear the bottom third during the grow, there's not much left to work with... they come good eventually, but your way would save a lot of space and time...anyway, great thread, thoroughly enjoyed :)

Heres the pics love that Zamal Tangwena

Looks very nice, super dense and well developed after just 8 weeks of flowering!
If you also like the effect, potency and terpenes then it's without any doubt a very interesting sativa mother to keep for future grows and seasons. Hope it remains in your garden and jars for a long time! ;)

We have had similar experiences when growing Zamaldelica indoors from clones. It matures indoors 2-3 weeks faster from adult clones than from seed. The adult clones overall grow more compact and usually produce denser more resinous flowers.

I'm surprised she took the high EC so well... the late flowering, thai expressions of the hybrid are a bit sensitive with high levels of nutrients (especially Nitrogen), although the compact, fast flowering Zamal smelling pheno of wider leaf works very well with moderate/high ECs (between 1.3-1.6 in flowering) ... it also depends a lot on size of the plant, quality of the water, the soil mix, etc ... there's no doubt you knew how to bring this plant to its best potential, and you were also very skilled with the use of the fertilizers and resources. Great job Tangwena

Hi Dubi you give me credit for skills I do not have, its the plant itself that does this I am just a bystander, the Malawi I grew was magnificent but again I just fed her and she responded.
The GT i grew was the same last grow I didn't push her enough and she was outstanding. I will grow her again next grow and push her a bit more.
It cannot be luck that the few seeds I have grown from Ace all produced outstanding ganja.
Ace is all about quality in my experience I salute you and your team

@ya thank you for the kind words all my seeds from Ace are feminised I only have very small grow space so I cant grow lots of plants and go pheno hunting. I just rely on getting a good seed in the first place and go with that. I have wasted to much time in the past struggling along trying to get inferior genetics to produce quality buds.
.
I have not had that problem with the Ace feminised seeds they have all produced amazing plants without any help from me. My last grow I purposely under fed them to see how they reacted. They produced 5 star buds just a little smaller, so now I feed them a little higher and have more than doubled the yield and the smell and resin production have both amazed me. I am still learning this indoor growing but love how you can manipulate the plant useing shorter light times and different nute levels ect. Enjoy your Ace genetics

nearly ready

nearly ready

I took a close look at my zamaldelica's lower buds, they are quite compact and really quite a good size averaging 2inches high and the same around. I noticed a 3rd flush of new growth of pistils so she's not ready yet.
Some of the older calyx are starting to go golden as they age and the resin with it.The rest of the resin is mainly milky and some still clear.
By the time this 3rd lot of new growth ambers she will be as good as she is going to get. She will be very trippy for sure, I cant wait.

@ Tangwena, I'm with on the grow space working with a 4x4 2/600w, I would normally pheno find on my O/D, and the one's that I choose I would bring them to the garage during the winter I/D grow, so basically its like a whole year to find a good pheno(far as sativa goes) haven't had to much luck with good genetics in fems in the past, but I've been reading these threads from ACE/Dubi seems they did it right, they will save us a lot of time.
thanks for the great info.
