Ace strain least likely to cause anxiety?

I know that the argument that sativas all cause bad anxiety is not always true, so I was wondering if there are any pure sats or other strains sold by Ace that don't cause anxiety problems?

For a pure sativa I am thinking the Vietnam Black x Meao Thai maybe?

Its not the strain that gives you the anxiety its your head. So if u go get ur head fixed the anxiety that comes when u smoke will stop.

It sounds easier than it is, but it is worth it :)

Thanks I was thinking of trying the Orient Express anyway, so I think I'll give that a shot.

Steelx, I know that's not true because there's nothing wrong with my head. Some people just get anxious when they smoke and that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them. Quite the opposite. It just means they have to be careful how much they smoke and what strains they use.

Some strains are more prone to causing anxiety in certain individuals. I've been smoking long enough to know that. There are no hard and fast rules, but I'm sorry but in general this is the case.

For example a Durban Poison can be a really edgy high for a lot of people in comparison to say an afghani. Some sativas are worse than others.

Like I said, this is not the same for everyone but it is a rule of thumb.

Its true that some strains are more likely too cause anxiety than others. But if you got your head straight, none of the strains that are more likely to cause anxiety will never make you anxious again.
I'm just saying, then u can enjoy all the lovely sativas in the world, without ever being worried about anxiety again.

It's better then just say nothing is wrong with me, and avoid some of the best strains... Anxiety is often a sign that something is not right....

Cola Candy is correct.

Some strains just simply aren't good for some people, because everybody is different. People are different, and strains are different... AND PHENOS ARE DIFFERENT. CLONES are even different if you treat them differently.
I'm different now, as compared to five years ago. :)

What about the positive effects of cannabis? Where are those coming from? :)

Guess whats wrong with "some people" their head... they just haven't realized it yet...

And the positive effects from cannabis, it depend what you seek in cannabis. If its medicine, an example is anxious people that seek the anti psychotic effect (CBD), other people seeks the pain relieving effect also CBD.

But if its just for recreational use people often seek the high, and laughter that THC is causing. THC the same thing that causes anxiety... That's why when THC causes u anxiety something is just not right.... :comfort:

You can deny it all u want to, but i am speaking from many years of smoking and growing. For many years i had the same trouble with anxiety from certain strains. Now anxiety is not even an option anymore ;)

He is right about getting your head right...

Its not smart to just shrug something off and say that isn't true...specially when I'm a person that has seen how true it really is.

Getting your head right so you can smoke sats makes just about as much sense as telling your body to accept milk when you're lactose intolerant.

Drugs affect people differently. Some can't handle caffeine, others can. Some don't respond to SSRIs, some do. Telling your brain to accept either won't change your physical reaction. Better to change the drug itself.

That said, I myself cannot handle racy strains. However, I love sativas, the more equatorial and thin leafed, the better. Some strains, durban poison x northern lights made me so paranoid I couldn't sleep for hours. By contrast, Tom Hill Haze is very head only, very thought provoking, very introspective, but not energetic really.

I would suggest that you look into Jamaicans (lambsbread is the happiest thing I've ever smoked, ever.) or Cannabiogen's Destroyer is pretty energetic / happy as well. I have very little experience with Ace's lineup, but seeing as they have both Meao Thai offerings and a couple of Jamaican crosses - you should have a pretty good start.

Past that, experiment! You won't know what you like without playing the field. Like i said, every one responds differently. What may be the ultimate high for one - may be terror for another. Good luck out there.

The anxiety doesn't come from the strain but from the person smoking it but some strains sure help to expose it, while others help to ease and temper it

As far as ace seeds stock I can comment that vb x kaiki thai doesnt really trigger anxiety and paranoia, being mostly clear steady alert high..

all the best and stay secure

Ive come to find its not the strain so much as the harvest time that causes anxiety. When you pick your plant a little too early and the plant has alot of clear trichs that causes anxiety. Your prolly picking your plants when the trichs are 1/2 clear 1/2 white, if you want a more relaxing high you flower your plant longer and pick when the trichs are 1/2 white 1/2 amber. I know this is true because Ive grown shit and picked it a little earlier than usual and when my gf smoked some (shes an amateur smoker), she literally started crying from anxiety and wanted me to take her to the hospital. No Joke.

I will say a lot of strains cause me to feel uneasy and if that is my mental fault then so be it. I do not think there is some therapy or adjustment I could make to feel really fine on some of it.

That said, a good sativa I have found is Panama Red picked late with lots of amber trichs. Stimulating but not uncomfortable at all. I use it during the day to get stuff done.

doesn't the case with pure sativas

this is basicly the reason why people fucking around with different pure sats, because as soon as they enter this pool they disccover sativas are not just your average haze/c99 hybrid.. each one has its own character, so you have to find that one that hit right spots for you..

QFT.

C99 is a good example, many report crazy tweaking when taken at 45 days, but most say it goes by day 55 .... maybe due to more CBD/CBN in the hit.

9/10 cats seem to prefer weed taken later.

Don't know why this was marked unhelpful a few times.... must be by peeps that haven't fixed their head yet.

Seriously.... Steel is exactly right on this. Nothing personal to those folks.... but I've found that most everyone I've seen having anxiety issues with regular cannabis usage (not massive amounts of paranoia type pure sativas) have been extremely week minded people. Some have just been completely unexperienced with anything so their mind is very narrow and it's had the same effect.

On a side note... Have you tried vaping? I've read a lot of posts from people who say vaping removes that 'anxiety' cannabinoid profile and allows them to vape any strain.

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:
