ACE mix Question for the Pros

I started a pack of 10 ACE Mix , I think they were free bees , Had great germ and I' m thinking they were over a year old stored in fridge. My question being , two ( 2 ) came up with the thickest red stems Ive ever seen. Years ago I bred up a great old time Purple plant. Any idea what these red stem thick stemed rascals might be ? Thanks in advance.

Hi happy rancher,

Thanks for supporting our work.If you post some pics (especially when they are more advanced into flowering) then i will be able to identify better the genetics of your ACE Mix regular plants.

Best wishes

I got the ace standard mix 5 or more years ago. I did a lite open pollination and made hash from the ladies. The next year, outdoors by the way, we grew the seed and had the biggest dang plants we have seen! Mold ran bad that year but seed was made. This years plants from the mix line are the third gen of seed since receiving the original pack the plants are hardy and covered in resin and here’s a few pics

Hi Tp01, glad top hear you have been producing your own seed from our ACE Mix and having good results.
The first female looks like Panama with the pink pistils, second female reminds me Vietnam Black mother so it's probably Orient Express genetics. Third one i'm not sure, would need to take a closer look.
