Accumulair Carbon Odor-Ban Filters

i wanted to see if anyone had used anything like this for cleaning air

they come in various sized and 2" or 4" thicknesses
the price is right
im thinking about building a hvac kinda box to slow down the air (reduce noise)
leaving my tent and then pushing the slowed down air through something like this
just a thought.

I bet that filter would cut the smell of feet and dog farts a lil in a condo with an efficient recirc system, but I wouldn't rely on it to stop (or do anything, really) the funkitty funk. A real carbon filter and some ducting will slow down the air a bit. So will a fan controller.

Don't waste your money on that type of carbon filter. Here is a link to the filter materal I use in my scrubber. I use the 3/4 inch thick stuff. It works quite well.

Depends on the design of the scrubber. I have used a 1x1x2 foot box, filled with the filter materal, intake on one side exhaust on the other. air is drawn through like 12 inches of the filter. It does take a good fan to pull the air through at any decent CFM, but it does take the smell out.
