Accidental 20 hours light during flowering

So I set my timer wrong so 12/12 was monday to Friday, went in room before and noticed light still on 20 hours later..

If I give them 12 hours darkness from now then 4 hours light and back to original schedule would this be the best option to keep things on track?

Sure I remember reading plants count dark hours not light

Plants only just flipped to flower but on a schedule so don't want anything to cause extended flower time

Thanks

Just put them back on schedule. No need to do anything else. I've done far worse with no ill effects.

In nature, plants gotta deal with cloudy days and moonlit nights. Your issue is nothing but a blip in the scheme of things.

Not unless this went on for an extended period. If you just flipped to 12/12 and it was only the first day (you said 20 hours, so I assume it was), then you are golden. Put them back on schedule and forget it.

And even if this did go on for more than 20 hours, there is no way to reverse course. You don't really have any other options, and screwing around with the light schedule will only make it worse.

Get them back on schedule and make sure the timer is set properly. Like I said, I've done worse.

Don't sweat it. You'll be fine. The plants haven't had time to switch out of veg mode yet

WD has it.. 3 days in, no problem... GL.. Timers are a PITA.
I suk at timers.. have to triple check for day to day timing (my day vs their day)..
