Ac problem

I have a situation my ac has just gone out in my grow area. I have some plants in flower anywhere from about 5 weeks to 9 weeks and a few k2 plants that are like 3 weeks old. The way I look at it is I have a choice of 2 evils either leave my lights off and subject my plants to that or have my lights on which will subject them to high heat and could stress out my k2's which havent shown there sex yet and increase there chances of being males. The other plants I have in flowering are shiva and northernlights from nirvana. If anybody can give me there thoughts on this it would be appreciated.

Yeah, like for instance are you asking if it's OK to keep the room dark for 5 weeks?

I will have the ac working by later today monday or tuesday. So it would only be at the most 48 hours. I have the lights on right now and it's like 93 in there right now. I hate summertime!

Can ya just throw in a few shop lights until you get the AC taken care of? It won't hurt em if it's just for a day or two...

I second just putting in some regular low light. Ceiling light, flourecent, whatever. This will keep your 12/12 cycle going.

Or if you are running multiple hids in bloom, only turn part of them on. Just tell the ladies it is a cloudy day.

thanks for the help I guess my main worry now is my young k2's. This is going to stress them and might make them be males because of it.

take your young k2s out of your room and put them under one compact flourecent...why are they in your bloom room anyway?small fan one compact problem solved...bloom room 9 weeks in i would just leave them in the dark for a week shit then cut them

the k2's are not actually in the bloom room i have a br then a bathroom right next to each other i have my k2's on a shelf above everything else and at night i just make my flowering room dark using that black white stuff. I have moved my k2's like you all suggested to another area in my house under flouro's.

Btw does anybody know how these strains do overall nl's k2 and shiva all from nirvana I haven't grown these before. I also have some afgani from nirvana to but I haven't got those started yet well I have tried germinating 3 seeds but they didn't sprout it's the first seeds that havent in like my last 40 seeds or so so I guess I was due I have had great luck with females lately 16 out of my last 17 seeds have turned out to be females.

like mentioned above i suggest you get some cfl light bulbs just to keep the light cycle going. sure it wont help them grow but it wont let them turn hermi either.

i have grown the k2 it was good compact buds about 70 days to finish my pheno

Magic how was your yield on the k2's? Is k2 a whte strain? I heard it was.

Might be time to consider a "throw down" spare window unit...I keep a spare 18Kbtu just for that purpose. $300 is a cheap insurance policy to save a grow IMO...

yes it grows compact heavy buds that reminds me of ak 47 indica pheno in its structure and thickness of leaves and over all growth.it would be great for sea of green.

Thanks sandman they finally fixed it for me been up and going now for a few days but there was some casualties. Magic that sounds great I am excited about this strain. Well if there's one positive thing I get when ever a problem comes up is I learn a lot from searching out solutions for the problem and in that process I always seem to read about things I run across in the process of it all. I appreciate all the feedback I recieved from everybody. You peeps are great here!
