I have purchased a 24000 btu AC an its heavy I can't place it at the top of the room. But can place it in the middle level. Will it matter where i place AC or it doesn't if I want even temperature at the top and at the bottom. As I use shelves method.

It would seem the middle level would be best if I'm picturing it correctly. In either case you want oscillating fans preferably wall mounted to help circulate the cooled air more evenly

Because heat rises, the ac unit will work best the higher up you can place it.
Thats a big unit so if your room is small enough then the brute force of the unit will cool the room but if the room is decent size, the ac may not cool as effectively.
I once had a 5000btu unit in a 3x6 room and i placed the unit 4' off the ground and it would not properly cool the room.
So, to answer your question, yes it does make a diference where you place the unit.

Good point evl my 12,000 btu is a window unit so its in the middle of the wall. For some reason I was thinking he was cutting in a big window unit. And thats without the use of drugs..!

I have prepared the hole in the window for this ac. Could anyone advise me how could I lift it 6 feet up (2 meters).

you may be able to use those ratcheting tie down straps to hoist it up there.

I hung a Can 100 high up using 2 straps. I made a loop and rocked the filter into it..then just lifted each end while I pulled the slack out of the strap - back and forth.. then I just ratcheded it up the rest of the way.

worked great - I love tie downs.

I suggest you put up a ladder, eat your wheaties, throw that bitch on your shoulder, and carry it up there. Thats what I did

You could do the ratcheting strap idea, I have thought of that for my big filters. May be harder to do with a smaller A/C. Maybe a transmission jack?

As long as you have good air circulation you should be fine. I had to mount a mini-split about 6 foot up an 8 foot wall because of what was behind it. Works flawless because I have good circulation.
