About the leaf

Am I doing something wrong if my leaves
have 7 blades, a few have 9. Some grower’s
pics have 13, or even more. Also I see
many mid to late flower pics where the
leaf colour is dark green. My leaf colour
is much lighter.

Your leafsets are normal, the light green is because of low Nitrogen.

depends on the strain and genetics!

Yeah the number of blades in a leaf is mostly a genetic thing but can also be a sing of maturity as well with younger plants having 5 or less blades and more mature plants having 7 or more.
