A true Legend....

J

James-Bong

My Cat..... Bo "naughty" Jangles. Weighing in at 17 lbs, Mr. Bo Was a BackYard Brawler for sure. Many of Cat And Dog had met there match, when they came face to face with this Giant of a TomCat.

I have had Bo for the past 10 years.... Even with Every move From Army post to Army post, he never got sour. He taught me to always keep my chin up.

And ohhh how he loved his Ganja.... With the Flick of a Bic he would come running for his nightly smoke session we never had to Force him to toke and after I could always count on him to keep my Feet warm as he would fall asleep on top of them.

Bo has been sick for the last few months Battling the Cancer. Just last week I thought he had met his maker, when he was Cutting through the Neighbors yard on his way back home..... "Parker" the Neighbors German Shepard had Bo cornered... Bo obviously weaken from the cancer... The shepard was going to take advantage.... Untill Bo came through with a Huge left Blow across the Shepard's nose Leaving him stunned and whimpering and allowing Bo enough time to Escape over the fence into his Domain.

I consider myself to be a pretty Emotionaly strong person.... But today a pillar in my life has been pulled out from under me....

It's with a Sad Heart that i must report that Today, at 7:25 am Mr. Bo has passed on to the next life..... He Died In my arms.

The last Several hours I have been an emotional wreck.... I never knew i could get this attached to an animal. When i Returned home from Iraq with a list of plauging health problems, I was not a Nice person to be around.
Bo always showed me what "Unconditional Love" really meant. He was Always By my side when times got rough.

These are the last pictures i have of him almost 3 lbs under weight.... I just couldn't bring myself to put him down.

He was more than just a Cat.... He was my Best Friend and im going to miss him.

My cat looks just like yours. I know your pain. My last two cats died a week apart after sharing over 15 years of my life with them.

Thanks for all the kind words.....

I spent most of today constructing Bo's Final Resting place in the Flower Garden out back Where he liked to do his patroling. I made him a Cedar box and stained it and put his blanket in there.

We also had some close friends come over to put him to rest, Bo knew no strangers.

Couple friends rolled a joint put it in his box. I Put my pipe i named after him and a Sack of ganja and a couple of his favorite toys for his journey to the next life....

Ive spent most of the Day Stoned and shedding a few tears....

Tonight's Smoke session sure isn't going to be the same...

Bo was a one tough S.O.B.... And im going to miss the hell out of him.

I'm sorry for your loss, JB. I've felt that pain before. It certainly brings a tear to my eye, bro...

All Bo gave to you...you gave him back. Unconditional love, companionship, friendship....and more. Those who know pets know that they give more than they take...and they enrich our lives far more than words can ever explain.

I know this is all fresh...and that it hurts to think about the future without Bo...but don't forget, and I say this as someone who has gone both ways...that there is another kitty out there (now) who needs someone with a beautiful heart like yours....

FWIW...I had a cat for 19 years...and when he passed..it hurt so much I thought there was no way I could think of getting another...

But ...then...I thought of how I hooked up with "Amos" that day at the shelter..and how much he needed a home...and I felt this pull...like there was something I needed to do....and the next thing I knew I was heading to the shelter...and there was "BLINX"....waiting for me

She saw us at the same time we saw her. INSTANT LOVE...

When you're ready...don't hesitate. There's a lot of love out there that needs ya as much as you need it...

peace.

Hey, we now have another problem.....

Bo haD a Female companion.... They were pretty close. Hajji hasn't been acting right since Bo has passed and isn't eating much at all. I feel bad for her it seems she really knows he is gone, it's strange. Any ideas on how to make Her eat or make things a little easier on her
