coolest thread in a long time!! I grow in a closet and I am trying to cut down on plants I went from 6 small ones to 3 big ones ....but Dammm ive always had the fantasy of lighting the bottom of my canopy!!! great design!!!
Don't know yet, it'll be better than I expected, the buds are dense.
Im choppin away. Still have about 1/10 of it to go, and have gotten all the smoking buds out and some "for oil" bud. Whats left Ill trim up for oil, its the paler center/bottom part. Above her is a screen I stapled up to dry on, running out of space. I trimmed for amlost 4 hours today to fill that hammock up. These bags are about 90% of the way to to be put into cure, they were cut 10 days ago. The two flats, and a bigger one above it in my motherspace will get into bags tomorrow. So what can I cure this in? Too much for jars. Ill start out in big ziplocs, but I hate to keep it there for years. Is tupperware better then ziploc? I might find some huge jars somewhere.
about 3/4 of the bud looks like this. the center is more yellow. bigger buds are just gatherings of these. this one is just cut, 11 weeks, near the bottom of the plant. I finished chopping tonight.
Oh man that looks like it might be a lil on the whispy side. Bummer. As far as the large containers for cure, I saw Ace Hardware had some huge ass jars last time I was in there. Alot of folks use rubbermaid stuff for the cure. Looks like you'll have alot of nug for making oil. I wanna see a pic of the dense ass tops. I would hope you would get AT LEAST 1/2 LB of AAA off of that monster, probably closer to 1 LB of really nice stuff. My guess is that you got somewhere around 3-4 lbs altogether off of what I can see.
there's no bummer, I dont know if the picture somehow suggests airy buds, but they arent at all. Im through guessing on the weights, cause Ill be finished drying soon. but its a home run for sure.
Can't wait to see what you pulled of of this one. This has got to be the single largest closet plant I have ever seen. Maybe I'm just picky, but that bud off the bottom of the plant is what I was referring to. If you say it dried dense, I'll take your word for it. Show a pic of the master cola!
foaf I just read this page but if you are looking for a large container we used air tight containers sold for dog food. They will hold 3lb just fine. Bought them from petsmart. FtC
