A "Thseeds-s.a.g.e" Question

This report isnt really about sick plants rather than size of the plant question.
The thing is my two sage plants are 7weeks into flower and they look small. Oh..sorry i forget to say good morning..how are ya guys! yeh..so my plants look a bit on the small side, there not that small but they are for 7 weeks. Im using 400w sodium and theres no light leaks, ive blacked out my whole spare bedroom
and there also in a tent for extra darkness..ya kno just to make sure its perfect dark. SO has anyone any info on sage? I mean..the thseeds company says thay doulble in size the last few weeks, ihope they do! If you want me to take some pics and show you i will, though it means i have to take them outa the grow room, but i dont mind. They still have another 4-5 weeks but i can see them doing 6-7 weeks more...hmm i dont know...what do you guys think? Any help

Its hard to know what "small" is without a pix.. if you can snap one.. ya don't necessarily have to take out of the room just snap some shots of the buds so we can get an idea of what they look like

I hope i posted this in the right forum, i was gonna go to grow diaries but i went for sick plants forum..oh forgot to say good moring again lol, it is a lovely morning here by the way, very rarely we have good morning and thats why im up so early..lol. Hey yeh..so
im not too sure about what yeild ill get why my sage, do they double in size the last few weeks? i really hope they do. Hey thamx for reading guys....take it easy!!

Yeh okay ill take some pics right now , oh..my cameras old and i cant take pics of them in the room cos the light...it makes them all orangy and stuff, so ill take them outa the room and take the pics...ill post them in 20mins cos thats how long it normally takes...thanx for the reply..

This is the fist girl but my cam is shit and im waiting on a new one!












and this is the second...again i need a better cam! This girl is definately gonna need another 5-6 weeks but i dont mind.








Though the first one has gotten a bit bigger sinse yesterday, so maybe shes doing her special stuff now...who knows! they look differen in different lights to me. So i took them outa the grow room for the shots and my cameras not very good...waiting on a new one so. Maybe they will start to pump out buds in a few weeks or days maybe. They do have another 4-5 weeks so...hopefully things will change. They do look pretty though and the first one is starting to get pink pistils, so she might start to double up...ya know
flower power and stuff Man when i took them out the room they looked bigger iin natural light!! so they might start to fatten up soon...fingers crossed!!

yeh there at 7 weeks, i just read on another thread that they take at least 12 weeks to finish...so that gives them 5 weeks to get bigger, and for the second plant..well thats gonna go 7 weeks longer i think.Im not too good on measuring pot sizes but mine are very big!! Anyways, ill wait and see in a few weeks if they start to fatten up. THey get
plenty of fresh air but ill be hoping to see changes in a few weeks. I dont have ph metres and stuff, nor do i hav a tempeter stat thing so i guess its warm in there..very airy and what i think is a good temp. The medium is very good, i paid £5 a bag from
the local head shop and i use miricle grow for ferts. All i wanted is to try the sage but now i want a big yeild to go with it, I cant beleive there that big either for 7 weeks, i really hope they start to get meatier.

Those will blow up big soon. You have all white hairs and the nugs look ready to do their thing. I will be keeping my eye on them, the leaf looks a little dark, maybe too much N? That will slow maturation for sure. Also, whats the pot size brother? How far away from lights? Show a pic of the actual grow and the proper malady sould be quickly identified...if there is a malady.

The medium sounds NOT very good brother. Dont use miracle grow, get something nice and organic for a little bit more. Miracle Grow will work, but its nasty on the buds flavor and makes the herb harsh. I would recommend a full2 week flush.

honestly-i think your doing fine!
while i also have SAGE -i have only just started flowering mine so a comparison is outta the question. I LOVE the taste if the leaves on this one!
what i do notice is that pheno #1 is expressing more indica traits and may well be ready in as little as 3-4 weeks and could possibly bouble in girth and density though unlikely(?) i say this cause theres suposed to be alot of really dank sativa genes in there- big sur holyweed
as for pheno #2, it looks like it just started to flower like 2 weeks ago.It clearly needs at least 6-7 weeks if not more
be patient my man-it should reward you with a beautiful spring harvest
PS-go a little easier on the nutes for the 2nd pheno if you can

the sage is the most good and powerful tasting herb that u could try all ova the world..and if u catch the real big one pheno u'll grab the keeper one both foe taste and yield.

BUT BELIEVE ME DUDE...THE YIELD DON'T MEAN NOTHING COMPARED TO THE FLAVOUR OF THIS PLANT!!!EVEN IF U CAN EASYLY DROP THE g PER WATT!!

it is a great sucker of nutes ...but don't exceed with guano and P boosting..and hate the minerals or sintetyc like someone other have mentioned before.

after u'll grab the keeper one make clones with no stopping...16 per square meter are best with 10-15 days of growth for unbeliavable column buds.

but first grab the keeper:

There really impressive filimagno!!!, mine arnt nothing like that and i know about miracle grow now and im gonna stop using it, i wondered what made my last grow taste so harsh and tasteless...im stop using miracle grow now. Do you think if i stopped miricle grow now the taste will be okay, cos thats what i love most....f*****g miricle grow!..i new it was shit!! Yeh and it makes the leaves darker..damn its got to be that stuff thats making my buds harsh!! I mean my last grow i used miricle grow and the buds grew so much faster stronger but the taste and everything were harsh and pothetic..well okay.. but still ive never been told to not use it mainly cos i never told anyone.So now thanks to you guys i know not to use it..damn! Do you think the sage will be fine if i stop feeding them? i mean get the taste back and stuff? Anyways im not bothered about the yeild..truly..i just want to taste and sample them.

in terms of getting the most taste out of a strain, I'd have to go with a full flush for at least 10 days if not longer
i like the foxfarm line and while it's not 100% organic, it is mighty fine
For full organics in dirt, you can't go wrong with worm castings, guanos, kelp meals, etc. PPB seems to be a favorite of folks around here
even organics require a flush since the goal is to deplete the plant of it's storage of nutes
don't get discouraged by filimagno sick grow-it comes with time, wattage, and above all, lots of know how

Last 10-14 days before harvest it is vital to flush the pots with plain water to leach the medium of nutrients. this in turn makes the plant use up its reserves and the final outcome is medicine that tastes like it should and burns down to a clean grayish ash
I also never cured my buds in the past-BIG mistake
cure your buds-even if you only got a few to spare-the result-even after a 2 week cure is like night and day in terms of taste/aroma at least -i haven't noticed a huge increase in thc since i thoroughly dry anyway
how they looking now? got more pics?
i'm waiting on a new memory card-paranoid i know but i wanna be growing my own medicine for the next 100 years!

I sampled a bud the other night..just to make sure the m.g didnt fuck them up..and it was fantastic, a great smoke!! All im worried about is the yeild at the moment.

Looking at Filimagnos plants make mine look tiny, i know its the miracle grow for sure cos i just finished reading a thread about it and it said m.g will fuck your plants up...and also make the plants yeilds smaller and that. Saying that i just got some expert advice...and that was to flush them good and stop using m.g and they should be fine. I think i might take a few pics when they start to fatten up, though i might take some tomorrow..depending on how there coming along, but i dont kno, im just hopeing there giv a nice yeild to go with the nice high...cos fuck me are they a nice smoke!!
