A thread on Blue Streak

I ordered 10 seeds of Blue Streak from Seed Boutique. Most professional I must say. Seeds came fast and low profile. All ten of them where black or a dark rich brown lined with tiger stripes like their black sisters.

I was able to germinate all ten of them. I have always been able to germinate mosts seeds yet even for me and mosts at least one of them should have been a dud. Out of the ten, 8 where female. what luck!

My highest respect must go out to Mdanzig. It is my understanding that he is the man who created the genetics. In this lawless industry i take it upon myself to uphold property rights as an individual. Mdanzig, If the seeds i got from the Seed Boutique where sold without your permission I truly apologize.

The plants have about 2 weeks to go and they have been pollinated, so what i tell you about the taste and high you must take with a grain of salt. It was a brutal day at work and I have been dry for a while. Two cups of my home brew simply left me feeling drained and incomplete. I cut a small bud from the bottom of one of the plants and tossed it into the oven for about 10 minuets at 350. I have done this before with other plants. Its a very poor way or possibly the worst way to dry out a plant. BUT ITS FAST!

THE LOOK

The plant is beautiful. From 13" to 18". Buds seem to be frosting up nicely but they have 2 weeks to go. I don't know how the Blue Streak got its name but i can only guess it is because the leaves tend to have a hint of dark blue when looked at from the right angle. The bud doesn't seem to have any blue.

THE SMELL

My house is glorious to come home to. To me the Blue streak does not smell fruity or sweet. It smells rich, herbal, and very fresh. Like i said i have not cured it out so i cant tell you what its going to smell like.

THE TASTE

Like shit. But that because all weed tastes like shit when you cut it two weeks early and stick it in the oven. Will have to get back to you.

THE HIGH.

Exactly what i was looking for! Calm, floaty high. It will only get better when done right. My muscles relaxed and i felt good. It did not give me energy, but it did not take it away. I was able to unwind and get off the couch. I did not feel drained or burnt out. I got up and did what i would normally do. Not even a touch of jittery energy. Its not the best weed ever to grow on earth but its going to be very, very good.

I like the type of high that does not knock me out or make me feel paranoid. I like the weed that relaxes my mind and muscles, that lets me take things for they way they are and function all while having that little riddle in the back of my mind. This stuff gave it to me.

Cant wait to tell you what its like when cured out properly. Maybe i will post a pic. I have not liked doing that lately.

I have two outdoors that are roughly 18" at day 41, lots of bud sites. I can't wait for the final product. The 4 others, have taken a beating by deer but should make it.

Your report sounds good, I can't wait to see how mine turn out. And as surprising as it sounds, my BS are doing better than my Sour60, but this may be because my S60s got topped a little more fiercely by deer than the BS's. We'll wait and see.

I love the Blue Streak high. It's very pleasant. It's not very down to me though. It may be me. It motivates me but without anxiety which some weed gives me.

I'm guessing that it's because it's blue berry x masterlow, and streak because it finishes fast?

Your report makes this a very tempting strain to try.. I've got some sour60's on the way, and should have ordered some of these as well.

I may have done a poor job explaining it. It was not a downer for me. Yet it relaxed the hell out of my body. It was a hard day and that night i thought i may not even make it to bed. But it got me off the couch without the anxiety that some weed also gives me.

I never have liked the anxiety or jittery highs. This was what i was looking for.

Your probably right. The name may have been giving me the sugar pill affect. Forcing my brain to see blue where their was nun. But im telling you. When they where younger the leaves had a blue "streak" lol

I can see them called Blue if you compare it to the lighter green of most weed it could be called blueish. Now that you explain the high I concur. Especially about the non anxiety part. Some weed makes me really uncomfortable. Too racy. I want to relax not whirl around like a top. It's one of the better highs I've had. I wonder if Blueberry is like that? I've heard some Thais are strong but don't give you the jitters.

Good Report. I've never thrown any grass in the oven. I would like to hear more about your "home brew". I am a wine maker myself. Drinking some 16% abv homemade blueberry right now. I know its a little early but its Saturday

Funny you ask. The one i was talking about was to this point the best i have made. What sucks is i kept no record of it. Made it with my bro a couple of weeks ago. Used all the stuff i had lying around. You know all the left over brew stuff. Im kicking myself for not keeping a record.

I almost maid a wine last weekend. Didn't, made an ale. Never made a wine before.

Its not to early to drink. Im on my 3rd beer now, but only because i got home and my dog was dead. Died sleeping under a bush. He was very old so it must have been his time.

Forget it. Life is not to dwell in suffering. Drink a beer with me will ya?

I just lost a Rottweiler a little more than two weeks ago to old age. He was 11 and some change. He did his job. Nobody, and I mean nobody ever tried coming over my fence. No yard intrusions ever. When somebody would pull up to one of my gates he would run out there and just hit that fence and raise cane till I came out and told him to stop. I'm bringing a pair of em up this time.

Very sad to hear about your dog. It always sucks. I will drink a Lone Star for ya. Bet you aint got that where you are.

Smokey was an Akita. Big scary dog that did the same job. Though he was harmless. No lone star. but many micro brews in the north west.
Sorry bout your dog man. I don't know if i will get another dog for some time. Smokey was with me for 14 years or so. Very old for an Akita.

I just cant grasp yet that he has passed. Its to weird at this point. He was so active last knight.

I knew mine was gonna go. He started loosing weight and I took him to the vet. Vet prescribed a diet to help him keep some weight but she was honest with me too and told me he was just old and it looked to her that he was gonna pass. I suppose a sudden death would have been harder for me to deal with but it actually sounds better for the dog, no suffering, pain, that kinda stuff.
