A sealed room Question???

I have a 12 Lx 9hx 8w room and i have sealed it. I have co2 with the timer and 2600 cooled lights, not worried about keeping it cool, also have a/c in there to.

My question is if i do not want to pull in fresh air from outside, Can i just run a canfan into a can-filter???

Say like hanging from the ceiling, since that is where it is at. I have a eclipse 6" fan 630 cfm on a 66 can-filter.

I have not started a new grow yet but have grown with real good success in my last room. This is the first time for co2 sealed room grow....

I'm on the edge. Of what I'm not sure.

I do and you can too.....cleaning the air inside the cab, even though it is not exchanged, is a good idea. It also cuts down on the smell pouring out of the room when the door opens......thats what i use a ozone gen for....to catch those smells that try to get past the first line of defense.

Yea man hang you can right in the middle of the room and let it scrub the air and discharge it right back into the room. You dont want to pull air in from the outside or exhaust any from the inside out for it to be a sealed room.Recircultaing scrubbed ait into the room is just fine.I can help you with having success from a sealed room using controlled Co2.God knows I've put enough time and effort not to mention money becoming successful at it.

Thanks,That is just what i wanted to here...I did a test run on the co2 (20 pound bottle) and it only lasted 4 days...I then went and caulked every little crack and weather striped the door...

Is that about how long a bottle of co2 should last??? That was on 18 hr. veg cycle...With a sentinel cppm-1 co2 controller set to 1500ppm

i have the cppm-1 and a 20 lb tank hooked to a burner. my tank is on its 5th or 6th week and can go another 4 i am sure. make sure your solenoid is operating properly. 4 days for 20lbs in a sealed room seems like a waste somewhere. yes you can recirc with the fan and filter. i scrub my room in the same manner.

Bearclaw people are going to disagree but trust me you dont need co2 during the veg phase. You want to use 1500PPM during flowering thats where you are going to get your results.I've been through all of this man.You are losing co2 somewhere I think even with an 18 hour photoperiod.A 20 pound tank lasts me about 3 weeks in an 8 by 8 room with about 20 4-5 ft plants. They use the co2 up much faster during the first 2-3 weeks of 12/12 than afterwards although you want to always keep it at 1500PPM.They use a lot of nitrogen during the co2 12/12 stretcheroo too Boo Boo.

I don't know mate, but I use it during veg as well. The plants grow massive roots and thick stems in a jiffy, to me that is not a waste. Especially since I scrog, bit even if I did not scrog, I would not see it as a waste. BTW, my room is sealed 3x8x8 (600HPS) and a 20 pound tank lasts me about 3 weeks in veg 20/4. That even takes into account that I vent 3min. every 3 hours due to prior 'outgassing' problems. I would look for additional leeks ;)

Good luck mate,

Man this sounds like an interesting concept... if this works then we could be growing in space truly...in a capsulized environment...never being detected anywhere it is. How about getting your hands on one of those carbon scrubbers from a submarine?
