its none of your business.leave it alone...yeehaw...I been around plenty of fools in my time..no smell control, light leaks, ect all kinds of shit....aint my business...leave the low hanging fruit to be plucked....

Is it ??? what if joints kids smell it is that a problem ????
No one should have to smell it hell think of it this way someone moves next door to you and starts slaughtering pigs and all you smell is burnt pig hair all the time prior to his carving you going to live with that ??? and not say nothing same thing applies here

its stuff like this that will eventually stop the legalization of growing you know why there are millions of more people that do not need or smoke mj
as a tax paying citizen you have a right to not put up with that shit period if your growing you best grow in the best manner possible to not let the smell go public

It's hard to see this guy as a liability to you, Joint Operation. He's more like a lightning rod, really, kinda begging to take the jolt.

I can appreciate that you'd like to help the guy out, too, but that's pretty delicate considering that you're a grower. I'd just play it nice & neighborly, see what unfolds. The opportunity to clue him in may or may not arise.

I probably wouldn't do it, but you could take the direct approach. Knock on the door. Introduce yourself. Explain that you just moved in awhile back & that you can smell their marijuana grow, something they want to take care of before the cops smell it, too, particularly with all the comings & goings at their place. Just trying to look out for your neighbors who seem to be nice folks. Bye.

They'll never, ever mess with you & they might even catch a clue.

I'm not sure about the age and the "life experience" of the OP, but as mentioned previously, YOU NEED to MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!

Get involved, and you might forever regret it.

I understand your need for attention, but seek it elsewhere.

You can't handle county lock-up.

yeah don't bother him. If he wants to act like a shitpuppet let him. He's well on his way to his first big 'lesson'. Let him learn it. Sounds like it's just a matter of time.

BUT do WHATEVER you have to do to get your garden locked up tight smell proof.

Then start a pool with your friends on how long 'till he gets nicked.

Lets suppose you do the unthinkable and send him a 'letter'. Thats' gonna be a big deal to him and homies. Right away there gonna sit down and try and figure out who in close proximity sent it. He might be smarter than you think. Just young...

Maybe your house smells too..not as much as his..but smelly enough for a weed grower to figure it out. Now they pretty much know who sent it. If the law ever cracks his house he might THROW YOU UNDER THE BUS thinking he might get a break..

what's to say the dude doesn't just have 1 light going that just isn't being filtered? if I was planning on running any kind of wattage I would hate to have the high electric bill in a stinky neighborhood...although in your case the traffic probably sets off enough red flags as it is.

like I said im a just watch it unfold..

I cant do anything .. if I do I risk too much..

seeking attention ? what the fuck are u talking about.. i could really careless about him . let him get busted.. not my problem.. my problem is.. if they decide to do a fly over.. or a drive by with a flir cam.. because they got reports it smells like weed in this neighborhood.. then next thing u know.. they hit two growers on one idiots odor control problem...

if he gets me busted because his shit.. im a be pissed....

but like others said it could be a good thing.. could be a bad thing.. ill ride it out.. if a few months go by and i some how get to know him .. at all. maybe then i could say something like damn it reaks like weed in this neighborhood.. someones going to get busted lol. and then keep it at athat who knows.. but for now.. im just keeping my distance.. the less he knows about me the better.. but i already know too much about him .

You shouldn't worry.... Its his problems not yours. Im a firm believer in minding your own business. That's me though- I get annoyed when people ask what I do for a living even though its a normal question for people to ask. Ive actually told people awkwardly that I work in the adult industry, just to make them wish they didn't ask me. Theres usually no more questioning about your work after you say that.

Dr Fever- Your selfish attitude and not caring about anyone but yourself is going to get you in trouble one day. I don't think you were kidding when you said to call the cops on him, that's not cool.

If you can discretely send a message, why not give him the heads up.....less LEO attention in your neighbourhood the better.

When I moved Rural, my neighbor up the highway was growing the first winter, and not taking any precautions... I left a note in his mailbox..."Skunks are hibernating, get a carbon filter"..

It was so bad that you could drive by going 100km/h and still get some stink in your car from the heater sucking in air from outside....

Within 2 days the smell was gone....and it hasn't came back....

Last thing I needed was reports of drivers smelling weed from the highway, even if it is a few miles from my place......

Dude you need to look at your self in the mirror
We are the most selfish country ever to have existed.

This conclusion is inescapable if you compare our potential to our actions.

In the past, before the advent of modern technology and medicine, there was a limit to humanity's ability to reduce suffering on this planet.

But given our present advanced technology and unparalleled wealth, the United States could, had it the will, go a long way towards literally creating Heaven on Earth. Then we truly would be the nation on the hill.

We could, if we chose to, wipe out all childhood diseases by a worldwide inoculation program. But we choose not to.

We could, if we chose to, ensure that no human on earth goes hungry. But we choose not to.

We could, if we chose to, provide potable drinking water, sanitation, and shelter to all the world's people. But we choose not to.

We could, if we chose to, do a host of other specific good works that each reader can imagine. But we choose not to.

What do we choose to do instead?

We choose to spend our money on, and use our technology for, a myriad of frivolous, often environmentally destructive consumer goods and services: massive SUV's, giant screen TV's, countless changes of clothes with every passing fashion, cosmetic surgery, and so on ad infinitum: an endless mélange of gadgets, widgets, and other doodads that no one ever thought they needed until advertising convinced them that they did.

Americans even complain of feeling put upon. Their taxes are too high. They can't buy a new car often enough. They don't have enough leisure time.

Please.

The average American has a wider choice of safer food, more material comfort, more personal safety, and an overall easier life than 99.999% of all the humans who have ever lived on this planet.

And we could still have it and at the same time also embark on the Heaven on Earth effort discussed above.

So each one of us needs to look in the mirror, and for whatever setting each of us believes our Final Reckoning will take place in, practice our speech about why we and our society made the choices we did.

So really who the fuck is selfish

I agree with what your saying about society and the selfishness of lots of people, but why would you want to be like that, especially if you can understand and see it. I'm positive the native Americans way of life here on north America before Europeans arrived- was the best way to live. Barter for goods and services and live life to live life- not to make more money than the other person.

All I want is to make enough money to buy a large piece of land in the middle of no-where, put up a lot of solar power, and be self sufficient in the woods away from all the selfish douche bags that exist in our world. Just because I think this way doesn't mean I would wish harm on anyone or act like them in any way. There are good people in this world, just not enough.

I would be wary of developing any relationship whatsoever... Anyone who is running a grow n has constant traffic, n doesn't work and they're house stinks up the block... Seems like trouble to me..
If u do become friendly, I'd keep ur cards close... People who get in trouble with the law are much much more likely to snitch than those who stay out of trouble.. .. Good luck

Truth.

You smell gas, you see this guy standing waste deep in fumes, flicking his lighter... you GTFO.
