I am a 38 yr old 100% disabled vet and live in THE WORST PLACE for any chance of MMJ (Oklahoma)As we learned when OCCC(oklahoma Compassionate Care Campaign) marched on the state capital we were all called criminals and told oklahoma would be the LAST stte to evre legalize it then we were all searched and escorted off the grounds:-(....here is my story in a nut shell..
first off i have a bone disease that is slowly making my bones weaker and weaker it gets worse every yr and the pain is unbearable at times! The VA have me on methadone and loritabs for pain (which i HATE) i use lisonopril for blood pressure, simistatin for cholestrol, and vitmin d and calcium for my bones i also suffer from arthritis, and sever joint pain in lue to my bone condition.....when i go out of my house and shop or anything i must use my manual wheelchair for short trips to store and use my electric chair if im out and about for more than 30 minutes I'm unable to walk more than 100 feet without me feeling like i was just beat with a bat.. hince the need for the chairs...Me and my wife are seriously thinking of selling or heaven forbid foreclosing on my house here and moving to northern Cali so i can actually get on something besides synthitic HERION(Methadone)
that works!!!!!! what does everyone think????? Should I MOVE!!!! should i pull up stakes and go where i dont feel prosecuted for using something that works !!!! plz tell me how ya feel and pros and cons and such!!! Does everyone think i could get an ID fairly easy or not if i can't i NEED to know plz tell me want everyone thinks! also me and my wife are flying into san fran the first week in july this year we are going to check out the MMJ scene but also scoping places to live we are getting a vehicle nd traveling up to healdsburg stopping at fairfax and santa rosa does anyone think anyone up there at the dispensaries or such will feel sorry enough for me and help me out with a sample or two :) or am i dreaming ....at least I KNOW when i get moved ill be able to get it!!! here in oklahoma all ive seen in YEARS is brick swag GOD I NEED GOOD WEED!!!!plz any comments or ideas are always welcomed :) and if anyone would like im always looking to find like minded friends and my family will need some friends when we move so dont be shy:)

Sounds like you would benefit from a move to a medical state...

We moved back to cali, from TX a few years back...due to the med laws out here and not to mention it was time to head back home...as for the best place to live and get herb...the herb is all over and ya can get anything from mid to high grade, as for the living cost...

have you done any research on the cost of cali compared to the cost of your current loc? For something comparable you may look at the Central Valley area for cost similar to where you are now...LA and the bay area are high cost area's...

anyways...sorry to hear about all your pain bro, my wife lives with chronic pain so we feel for ya man...

Peace
GL

just remember that california is not the only option, oregon and montana as well as colorado have great medical laws. I think the biggest factor is the difference in cost of living compared to oklahoma. good herb is everywhere, just gotta know where to get it.

I live in the Nor Cal area (one of the places you plan on stopping) and it will be hard for you to get in a dispensery without a card. On a more positive note I would say you have at least a 99 percent chance of getting your med card with your condition. If you can find an affordable place to live this is a nice area I would say go for it! I have been here over 4 years and I had NO idea it was like this when I got here but I am LOVING it.
I am also a veteran and could help give you info about the VA clinics in the area... The San Fran Clinic is huge and I have been happy with the service I have received when I go there (which I can not say for all VA facilities). Thank you for your service and I hope everything works out for you!
