a quick fan question

what i would like to no is ive got some air cooled lights , on which side of the lights do you have the fan
A . blow through
B . pull through
this might be a really lame question but i thought i better ask cheers EASY

From what I have read most times you pull not push air. Personally for bulb cooling with a hood I would use both push / pull to keep it cool.

If you are running a single ventilation line then push through the hood. If you separately ventilate the light, it doesn't matter nearly as much.

Why? Because hood's have lots of small air leaks. If you pull through the hood you will suck out smelly air after the filter (unless you're pushing through the filter at the end of the vent run).

You could seal the hood, but that's a big pain. You will want to be able to get in and out for cleaning and bulb replacement.

qbert thanks for reply that makes sense it is a seperate vent for the lights. Aswell as the lights seem quite well sealed but proberly not 100% cheers EASY
