A little thought

So im sitting here on Icmag after a nice Element filled with the last of my stash and i got to thinking. First of all i don't want to give the impression that this is what i think will happen, it's just a thought, and probably a foolish, half baked one at that .

so to the point: Bush has about 14 months left in office. While celebrations will be happening in the streets on his last days of power [no doubt i'll be drinking ] What would happen if he said no? What would happen if bush refused to step down? After all the laws he's broken do you think it's really that far-fetched of an idea?

It's a scarey thought, but it's one worth thinking about. What would YOU do if he attempted to declare total power?

Think about it fellas. A huge attack happens against the US. Mulipule bombs go off in mulipule cities. Total chaos. "i need special executive powers to fix the situation and find the baddies!!"

we've all seen it in movies, V for vendetta is a good example. as are the second and third star wars movies. Do you think it's THAT extreme after what he's already done?? Fear will tame the masses better than a good approval rating any day of the week.

Good thing we have a relatively educated military and generals who are not simply remote controlled by Bush. I think many people on this website are a bit too paranoid and while I agree the Bush administration has been a disaster, we live in a nation that does not have a completely centralized government. If Bush were to take a dive off the deep end, I would think the Congress, courts, Pentagon etc. would act appropriately. The American people would not stand for it, period.
