I dont like the pics much....

Most look the same...

Some like potassium dont seem to reflect what happens....

Personally I prefer seeing leaves that begin to show the deficiency....

I have a couple packs of mandala satori on order....

my advice to mike....

dont quit your day job.....

Im actually quite good at this...

for example....

the pictures of potassium and magnesium are terrible.....

lol....

Neither demonstrate imo what the defs look like...

Then of course phos def...

"In flowering plants the leaves turn reddish-purple. This generally starts at the leaf tips and spreads towards the leaf stem. Stems may also redden. In acute cases leaves turn necrotic and fall off."

According to canna which has a lab all this info is incorrect......red coloration is not part of phos def.....

By the way I worked the sick plants forum at overgrow for a couple years.......I was the mentor in that forum.....

How about a pat on the back but I'm not sure what for.
Was that the correct link you have there, it's a HH Syndrome thread.

Now back to pictures & layout. New pictures can be uploaded in seconds. The guide here on this forum really could use some better images & properly sized files. If the layout doesn't work no one will read it or will have to painstakingly search through it for the info they desire. The layout on mandala site was very easy to read & get info. It worked & that's what counts.

Now that you edited...
I see why the bad mouthing of the other site now. I just like a good layout I don't care who does it.

Im simply saying its fairly useless....

The first thing I want to see is how the leaves react early in the def...

If you present leaves late in the deficiency they tend to not show much ....

And I lied..... I really dont care much about layout.....

I didn't read the thread. What was it you're trying to show me in that thread?

If you take the time to collect the info than it's worth the time to have a great layout. There's one way to be the best, do better than the rest.

<<A potassium deficiency sometimes resembles lack of nitrogen in the first stages of leaf deterioration. But the difference is that the leaves also develop rust-colored spots. Eventually the affected leaves wilt and drop.>>

Ive never found that potassium resembles N def .... at all......

Generally the leaves in fact remain green other than the necrotic tips and margins.....

It would be my suggestion that this guide be banished to Mandellaland....or Layoutland.......

Great guide and even better pictures dunno bout the phosphorus pic though. I'd say this one beats out the indoor grow bible and guide to sick plants. Well done!!

Whatever it's failings, it can't be as bad as a guide to leaf symptoms I saw once that had black and white photos!

And there was me thinking that my plants should be green!
