A fucked up tangle of genetics

i only have 10 of these seeds so it brought me to think i have maybe 10 very different seedlings here.I'm decent with genetics but don't know enough about dominate and recessive genes.
okay, i started (ducksfoot X afghan erdpurt) X(Ducksfoot X pakistan chitral kush) out of only two seeds one was picture perfect ducksfoo it turned out to be a male and i used it to knock up a female autoflower.

so 25% duckfoot genes 25% other photosensitive genes and 50% auto gens in the resulting seeds.

but on the the f1's from auto X photo 90%+ of the genes will be photo.
remember i only have 10 seeds.
so % wise what will the genetic make up of the bean be?

:tiphat: i dont even know if that is possible to follow...

I think that rather than working with number percentages, you're going to have to work with what you find.

I'm assuming you'll be looking for Ducksfoot leaning autos? If so just cull anything that doesn't have the ducksfoot trait and cross the ones that do. Will take a good few generations but that'll be your best bet.

Good luck!

So what is your ultimate goal? Auto Ducks? Regardless, it's a numbers game. Pop all your F1 beans and make as many F2's as possible. You'll see more of whatever you're looking for in the F2 generation. Select from whatever criteria you're looking for and make F3's.

Here is some reading about inherited traits that might give you a better understanding of how traits are inherited. It's basic Mendel.
