I've been playing around with Hypermiling - applied to water consumption.
Got my water consumption down to about 3 1/2 gallons a day.
For a hot bath, flushing the toilet, and drinking water.
Obviously not possible without re-using the bath-water.
So, who wants to hear about that ?
Today's Wierd Science question would be, how long would you leave the water in the bath-tub, if you were under STRICT water-rationing ?
Well, I don't want to ask overly wierd questions in the Toker's Den.
(Until it begins to smell ? ... if you don't pee in the bath-tub, the water lasts longer.)
I expect that by the year 2100, 3 1/2 gallons of fresh water per person per day might be what's available. in California.
