I was wondering if my fan leaves are worth salvaging for butter. I've just begun drying some Sweet Warp and K2; i've been keeping the dry fan leaves that i've been clipping off.
I was wondering.... if theres are no visible trichomes, does that mean they are useless? Do leaves/stems lose value if they are just kept in a trash bag at room temp. or should it be kept in the freezer?
I guess just throwing everything into my butter couldnt hurt... it would probably make the butter more green and give it more of a plant taste. I was wondering if anyone has tried to do a water cure with their trim/fan leaves before making butter so that it has no taste or color to it... and if you have how you went about doing it. My guess is that it probably just smells really bad and thats why most people dont do it.
thanks in advance
