Hi all
I have a friend who has run into some problems
He is hand feeding once day he 3 weeks in flower EC 1.3 PH 5.8 his run off EC is coming out at 1.7
He has this on the pic I think his EC is to low and he’s not putting enough nutrients through it causing a build up
What are your thoughts

Lights are at least 3 ft from the plant it’s not that
Ok, that's good to know. Are you using RO water? If you are using tap water the tap is interfering with the other nutrient uptake. Coming out at 1.7 EC of the bottom is plenty unless you are using a tap.

Yes using RO I think I may be over this now
I think it just needs a good flush out which I’ve done also the EC going in was to low and runoff is not enough causing salt build up
So fingers crossed it’s fixed

A good way to raise the EC is to not allow runoff for a while. I feed with every watering holding the runoff to raise the EC.

Also, friend if you are in a soil-less potting mix, a pH of 6.2 is much better for the plants than 5.8 pH. I tried it both ways and 6.2 has been the best for having less leaf bronzing.
