Nice buds!

What strain are you working with?

My only advise is to try and keep the top of the buds from getting cut off in the pics, and try to avoid shadowing from the camera / photographer.

I started a thread called Cannabis Photography 101, there is great information there. Ask any questions you like, there is always someone willing to help out.

Keep up the good work!

I agree! Very nice buds!!!

Great focus on your pics! I like 'em all!

On the constructive side, I'd suggest:
-- Work on centering the bud in the frame. It looks like what you're seeing while composing your shot is not what is getting recorded. Maybe work on compensating as necessary, knowing how much your camera is off.

-- Something I *really* like in bud shots is an item to gauge scale. i.e., A standard Bic Lighter, a Bumblebee {to use a recent example I've seen here}, a Joint, etc. Of course, you would also want shots like what you have with just the bud!

Keep 'em coming!!!

Ah! I see you did the one with, what, Chile Peppers? That's cool! And gives an idea of scale...

Very nice!

Thanks

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for all the warm answers.

I have noticed I do have a tendancy to shadow the object that I am shooting. I need to work on that. I have never noticed that I cut off some of the tops before, but I do. Good eye phototropic.

BuzzBob, you are correct in that I do not record what I always see to begin with. I have a bad problem with getting shaky when I need to be really still. On the up side of this I am buying a tripod very soon so that will certainly help to "stabilize" my shots.

I did not think of shooting any pics with anything for comparison. The next time I am in the position to take some pics I will throw in a ruler or something. Great suggestions.

Peace

Warlock

Warlock

Hello,

Sorry I forgot to address the strain question.

The strain is warlock. The seeds were purchased from Magus at the Cannabis Cup in 2000 or 2001, I am not sure which. They are a friends plants.

He is on his third round of flowering with her from clones and he says that he feels as though he is starting to "dial her in".

These landsape pics are absolutely stunning, thanks for posting them.

Is that Stowe or Killington? Looks like Vermont to me. Could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time!

Hello,

phototropic, the landscape photos were taken in Colorado earlier this year.

The bud pics are great, very nice job, but did that last bud get crunched on top or hit a light or something? Seems a bit flattened out.

That's the only criticism I can find for ya.

Hello,

Thanks for the compliments THCesar and Californian.

I am not sure if that plant was crushed. I am thinking that it is only the angle I took the pic.

Peace
