A few GN magical mystery mix babies...

Well, i've finally got off my rear end to post the piccies i've been taking with my broken cam (works when it wants to). These are GN Magical mystery seeds and later on (once i've got piccies) there's a couple more plants from a different mixed packet. These little ladies (hopefully) have been through alot in their 4.5 week existence. Heat stress (fan packed up), general grower error and a rampaging cat on one of her usual 'funny turns' where she feels compelled to go flying around the house in any direction causing as much chaos and destruction as possible. However, all three of the plants you're about to see survived what has happened and have been treated like royalty ever since. They have since been transplanted into individual, large pots. I know people say not to start seedlings in the same pot due to root tangling, but in a large pot by the time the roots meet they should have been transplanted anyway.
Righty, here's the little ones, i'll get more pics soon as they'll be going 12/12 in 14 days time (got it all planned out this time, though i expect surprises and problems along the way like any grower). Righty, here they are, gonna try putting em in order of pic taken, bye for now friends and enemas...

In the beginning, there was taproot...

Then there was stem...

Let there be leaf...

At four weeks old and recently recovered from the dramas of the previous week, not looking bad...

Nice, early side branching has begun (much more advanced now than in this pic)

And this was them just before the transplant, a nice little group pose. I never did figure out why that one plant thought it better to show its side to the light instead of the tops of its leaves, either way it's vertical now so it matters not.
That'll be all then :friends: :canabis:

Hi NTG, yeah mate I agree, just to be able to put up with the stuff they've gone through shows they must have genetics of steel (was gonna say balls, but didnt wanna jinx em, lol). Let me know how that female turns out. Though it would be nice to know what plants i've got, at the same time there's that little voice telling me it doesnt matter, it's gonna be killer...

Sackoweed: Hi mate, let us know how that little patient does.
Big Mike: That's a great looking plant my friend, healthy and bushy. I can already pick out smells on the plants and they're no where near even the first flower yet. One of them has an ever increasing odour of 'skunkiness' about it, one just smells like that 'green smell' you get when you cut the grass or hedges in your garden and the other just has a hint of that skunky smell. I like their overall grow performance so far and cant wait to see how they perform under the hps for 12/12. It's only gonna be a 250w, but it'll do nicely

Cheers for stoppin in Harry, how's all ur ladies doing?
I'm noticing growth everyday again now, they've really picked back up after all the hassle so im very pleased so far, nature-willing i should have some nice homegrown 'mystery bud' to smoke in about 8-12 weeks, seems a bit long saying it like that, but time seems to go quicker when you can see a difference in their size every day.
Much respect your way sir.

Hi all, no more pics for a couple of days but I was just gonna mention that their smells are all increasing. Each plant now has a recognisable smell about them, one of them being a plant i'm going to keep an eye on for stealth reasons. If they smell this much in veg (not too bad, quite pleasant actually), then I dont wanna know how un-stealthy they'll be for me during flower, lol, me thinks many fans, extractors and air fresheners may be called upon at the current rate.
Either way, all are doing well and are still on course for the re-introduction to the world of hps.

sorry for no update sooner. Camera is still being a poo-hole... but i managed to get a pic i'm happy about  Two of the three have turned out to be male, one took longer to show, but i'm pleased to present.......Betty! :biglaugh:

She's a looker isn't she? hehe, will drag more pics and full body shots soon. It's very indica, has stayed short but i think her branches may be beginning to develop quite rapidly now. i'll be cloning next week before full flowering sets in. Peace all.

TIP: put your plant under a HPS and plant in as deep as you can...

In this last pic the plant is 11 days from Germ...

Hi Sackoweed, what kind of light is the plant under? One thing i would suggest is using flouros until at least the fourth node, obviously these are mixed strains so it may not be the same for all of them, but when i put mine under the hps, even a big distance it almost killed them, i now dont think that the little fan i had in there was making much difference anyway, the new one is though, but all three of the plants in the thread responded very badly to going under that stronger light when they had two sets of 'true-leaves'. Once they recovered and got to their fourth node, i tried again and noticed a massive growth spurt. My plant is also nice, short and squat, branches are growing more so than the height of the plant now and it looks very indica and im very happy  I'm not concerned that i only got one female, I'm looking forward to developing my cloning technique now so i've been doing plenty of reading. A new piccy should be here within two days to show how she's going.
One question for anyone that can help, the plant has got a nice, solid and firm feeling stem, her side branches though are quite thin, they're strong, but thin, it's these areas i shall be cloning from, should i wait until they fatten up a little?
Thanks all and good luck with all your plants.

Hey Noddy nice pics. At least ya ended up with somethin huh. Should be fine for clones man. I cloned my branches at two weeks flower and rooted in 1 week in peat pellets. This is my first cloning attemt and all 3 clones rooted. Good Luck.

Nice one cheers immortal, what i wanted to hear. i havent totally decided what to try rooting mine in yet, going to get everything ready this sunday so we'll see by then. I know some growers would be annoyed only having one female, but she appears to be well worth the effort of cloning, new growth very noticable every day so hopefully her clones will be the same.
