A deadly potent indica TOUGH for outdoors?

G

GroMore

I'm looking for a deadly potent indica that's TOUGH for outdoor growing in a region known for plenty of rain during the bud season. What will stand up to this? Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks,

GroMore

Silverbacks threads on the outdoors are pure Green Gold, Legendary, from memory, he liked GHS White Widow and Sensi's Maple Leaf Indica. Do not listen to me though, checkout pretty much everything Silverback wrote, you will not be wasting your winter....

The Aurora Indica looks potentially yummy, I often sort through silverbacks posts in the outdoor strainguide.

Would be interested, but they say it is best suited for indoor. Anyone else grow it outdoors?

Guys please beware. There is a pheno-type in the Nirvana strain that absolutely has 0 % potentcy.Silverback had also found this pheno-type and agreed with me when I posted about it.It has been over a year since I messed with this strain and cannot remember what this pheno looks like but I ended up having to throw about 2 ozs. of seed away because of this.I was breeding them for the 09 season but ended up going with KC33 which I have been very pleased with. This also was done on silverbacks advice. However maple leaf indica was his favorite one reason being that it was drought proof. Now kids this is a very big deal for a outdoor grower.Anything will grow in a bucket but when you plant the seed in the Earth and they wont grow then you dont have anything. Most strains these days are developed for indoor growing and if you take them outdoors you will have to water them so whats the point?Marijuana should grow in a patch just like corn and if it dont then your strain is not drought proof.Lots of seed companys advertise outdoor strains but you better consider that one thing unless you want to pack water all summer and you shouldnt have too. I never did.

Maple Leaf Indica is also supposed to be deer proof
again according to silverback. Deer dont like to eat it.

deadly potent outdoor indica, this topic ineterests me most in world of weed.

Aurora Indica; grew it in '06 and had two phenos, both were deadly potent, couchlock, mindless, starring into wall. heavy yield.
Aurora was grown again, by my friends this year. Harvested around same time and it's not nearly as potent as it was in 06. it seems that this year they would need to go into late october to be ripe. it makes you little tired and sleepy but it doesn't have that raw potent stone... i think it's luck of the draw with ai.

silverback;
i think he said that most potent outdoor indica is Endless Sky by drgreenthumb. but that shit costs a little fortune.
he also recommended me Bahia Blackhead by kcbrains, it's pure brasil sativa crossed with something and it should have heavy indica stone. i didn't choose it beacuese it has flowering time like 40-80days and probably tons of phenotypes.

Try Holland's Hope ... it was bred for mold resistance

no offense Doc Leaf..Hollands Hope sucks,,,its kinda hoping to be a good strain..I don't doubt its good for outdoors, but grew it out few years back and was VERY disappointed

Guess it's time to jump in and give my 2cents...

Hollands hope both sucks and is good, lol Out of the three phenos I found only 1 is any good and it's NOT a 'deadly potent indica'. It is VERY up and VERY tasty though. If you want a killer indica I'd go for Mazar or Aurora Indica. The Mazar goes a little long outdoors though...

Try some Ierdbeer/Erdbeer. Some very nice phenos in there, very fast, considering pontency and yield. Mold and bug resistence is OK to very good, I tried a cross with this Erdbeer and an Early Durban, found an Erdbeer pheno with some nice, rock hard, in-do-style, sticky gooey nugs, stinkin and smellin delightful of minty-fresh, spicy hash-strawberries and other funky stuff, had alot of rain, didn't rot, a caterpilla liked her tho... She blows minds too, spin you around till you find a proper place to crash, if I didn't mentioned that... Exiting cross.. Search google, you'll find her.

BlockHead and Endless Sky are two heavy hitters for outdoors . Deadly is subjective IMO

When I grew 2 regular Aurora Indica seeds I got 2 girls, 1 keeper (for a while) the other one I called the hemp pheno, some call it the weak hay pheno, but basically I'm just confirmning what others have said there is a good AI pheno, fine if you are working with clones but from seed, potentially very dissapointing.

Outdoors this year I found Blue widow and white diesel (both 50% White widow) were suseptible to mold here in the UK, with pretty crap weather, hope that helps

guerilla gusto from sensi seeds is a tough indica plant that's resistant to every pestilence i know of, including mould. It's the fastest growing strain ive ever grown and is an easy and reliable plant. I'm supprised it's not more widely grown by northern growers and new outdoor growers. For me, the potency is much better than strains like Hollands Hope's or twilight. After 3 grows of it, i feel the strain is care-free and underrated as an outdoor plant, especially for the price. Regaurdless of conditions, i always harvest the GG.
