A couple questions

Ok my situation.

-I have a 8x8 room
-A/C
-2000 watts HPS
-growing in coco coir
-Avg room temp 80-82
-Strains: Strawberry cough, Blockhead, GDP
-Hand feed

problem: my plants are 8 days into flowering and they're starting to develop single leafs as their new growth. This is also starting to happen on my same plants in my veg room as well, here are a couple pics:

Im thinking its a heat realted issue but I just thought I would ask some people here first before I came to any conclusion. Will these plants still produce buds or should I throw them out of the flowering room? This is the first time this has happen to me so I'm kinda clueless.

2nd problem

Also in the same room I have 16 plants 50 days into flowering. Most are looking great but a couple especially the 2 giesels i have are turning brown near the little leafs close to the buds. It sorta looks like it might spread to the bud but Im not quite sure. Should I chopp this stuff off?

Thank you to anyone that helps!

it's generally the end of floweing - if your re-vegging and it's under 18+ hrs of light, - it will resume standard leaf formations as it returns to veg state.

Plants look stressed - that prolly triggered floweing befor your changed the lights. - Take clones while your fixing the problems.

Second set of pix looks like spidermites.

Spidermites are NOT friends to you or your garden.

Oh my..that looks EXACTLY like spidermites..the pics where the leaves look stippled..[like it has speckling]..and they breed even faster when a plant has tissue that is in close contact..in other words budding.

Get a no pest strip hang it over the plant for a day.

it should be fine its a gas, i do not think no pest strips get into plant tissue but look it up

You give room temp AVERAGES; you should also monitor your EXTREMES. A sharp upswing in mite population density, plus signs of stress to your plants, combine to give an indication that your temperatures are too high at some point in your cycle.

Also if you are not yet running a silica supplement, those help protect against high temps and physical damage from chafing and sucking insects by making the cell walls stronger. IT is something to consider, anyway.
No-pest strips should not damage your plants but in rare cases they can; monitor for sudden changes in leaf appearance.
