A bush of Purple buds

I grew this plant out of a pack of nirvana PPP. I revegged the original seed plant to pull clones (it was good smoke ), and here she is again yielding me triple

She's right around 55 days, and the flush has begun.

I don't think the purp PPP is extrmely common, but I found one other example of a purple pheno PPP right here on ICMAG yesterday during a search... LOL Now when I try to search again, I can't find it, oh well..

I guess it's not extremely common, but it has popped up from time to time.

The flush has begun last week. I flush for a good two weeks, but the first week of my flush there is still enough organics/food in the soil to sustain growth. This week I'll give a good thurough flushing, and get her ready for the chop.

The pics were taken right around 48-55 days of flower, so with the next week and half flush it'll put me right around 60-65 days which should be purfect time for harvest. Right now the trichs look mostly cloudy, still some clear, and the first few started degrading to amber.

The coloring is sick though.. The hot pinkish-purple buds are actually the smaller popcorn buds that do not recieve the strong light.. The calyx look to be two toned pink/purple and green. Really big fat beautiful trichome filled calyx. Remind me of some kinda exotic fruit lol. When you look under the buds you see the pinks, but from above the buds just look PURPLE.

Its my understand that all Nirvana seeds are crossed with some colorful male, thats why Nirvana seeds turn purple or in this case pink, thats kinda and oxy moron considering its supposidly Pure Power Plant but hey they obvciously outcrossed it, none the less that is one kick ass plant.

Did the plant come out as potent as the gen 1? I've heard that re veged plants loose a lil potency does it look like its lost some trich coverage or does it look all the same?

You know sweet is my thing.. I love sweet fruity strains, but this PPP is niether sweet or fruity. Her smell is very pungent, and spicy-sour then sweet. The high is what really won me over.. The first time I sparked her up I sat stairing at my nugg jar as my mind went wondering.. It's very thought provoking, and heady, but with a good relaxing numbing body feeling as well.. It brought back the highs of when I first started smoking.. Almost a racy overwhelming "Holy shit I'm high" feeling throughout the body, and mind. It seemed to have a high cieling, and you could either smoke a little and be happily medicated or over indulge at which point there is no doubts about it your reality has been scewed hehe.. I was pretty surprised at how good the smoke really was.. I have a high tolerence and been smoking nothing but good homegrown, but when I smoked this one It cut through the tolerence and toasted me like a silly tenager all over again

I have plans to cross her with some sweeter strains. I have c99 x c88/white widow pollen saved up, and am thinking of trying to capture some of c99 sweetness, but keep the growth structure, and high/color of the PPP.. Would take years to create a stable strain, but I should get a good selection out of the f1's which may be more pleasing to my taste buds.. I love c99's high, and extrmely sweet flavour, so to me c99 couldn't do any harm to any strain LOL..

To be honest this plant looks right on par with how she looked the first time. If not even more frosty, but that can be my growing skills, and indoor set up coming along. I've also adapted my feeding regimen quite a bit from when I last grew her. She does look just as good as ever, if anything more trich coverage then gen1. I basically lost my clones while away on business, so the only way to hold on to this killer plant was to revegg, and pull clones. The reveg was worth it!!!! It was my first time doing it, and I saw lots of reasons to do it.. For a mother plant I think a revegg would be perfect... I had new growth shoots out the ying yang.. If I ever needed 40-50 clones for a sog grow a revegged plant can do it LOL..

Yes, I heard that about nirvana as well. Using a skunk variety to create f1's, and then backcrossing or just releasing f1's or something like that. I don't think anyone really knows for sure, but there are a lot of purple phenos to be found in many of their seed packs which points to something like this being plausable. When I buy cheaper seeds I go into it open to the variance that may show up from f1 breedings.. To be honest I've grown nirvana NL, PPP, and their widow, and while there was some variance in all 3 packs I've always been able to find something to my liking, and worth cloning, and growing for a while.

Try some PPP oil. Youll be very pleased. Some of the best Ive had to date.
Shes looking gorgeous btw. I have never seen a purple/pink PPP before. Nice work.

Little popcorn bud I cut off, and manicured the hell out of... Wanted to check out those calyx. I have never in my life grew or purchased buds with such bright coloring. Looks like a tropical frit.. Under the microscope the stems leading to the trichome heads are purplel

Yeah you can't see in the pics.. I saw them though under the microscope. The strain is Nirvana's PPP
