Hey y'all. Mr.goodbudz, although that's a nice looking chem cross, totally can see it in there, it's not the original cut. Clear as day. And that's the thing. For the last 10 years, we've all seen so many fakes. Not knocking your work by the way..at least that one looks like is has some chem in it.
Sorry it took so long to get back in here, my life is stoopid busy.
Here's the deal... I'm not sure how many people have the same cut. I'm sure it's out there, but I know exactly who I gave it to, and that list is small. The guy who gave it to me in 95 hasn't had it in 15 years. When I gave it back to chemdog in 2006 it seems that he hadn't had it in a good while, and I heard that he didn't have it long after that... So how and when did the original cut get passed Around? I know it was stolen from my friends house (RIP) around 2000 in cottage grove, OR... I never forget anything. I'm sure some of the NY crew has it still. I was told "DON'T ever give this to ANYBODY" and I'm a man of my word. So that's what's up. I gave it to 5 people over all these years, and as far as I know only one of those people did anything real with it. I'm not bragging, but enough is enough.
A name is a name and it should mean something. And to me it still does.
Think about it.... you are given genetics at the height of the War on Weed, before we had the luxury of talking to one another like this. Before carbon filters for crissakes...
I mean I met that dude in a park while I was hustling "medicine" as we call it today... whats the chances? Only catch? Don't give it to anyone. I took that to heart like a good deadhead should... only to watch the desire for the chemdog disappear because of so many disappointing fakes being passed around and shown. On the market floor, who wants to look at some good ole chemdog after they already saw some bullshit with the same name..
So yeah, a name should mean something and at one point it did.
Maybe it does once again, maybe now that we can all start coming out of the shadows it will be harder for people to just ride the name that's hot.
I hope so. You think every wine grape grower just names their recently harvested cabernet pinot noir so they can get a couple more bucks a pound?? Nah.
I'm glad there are people out there and on this and other forums that still care what's what..But that didn't help pay the bills over all these years. I had to shelve it to make room for what's hot to get that done.
Well, no more, the Labour of love will rule. I'm convinced. Maybe I'm just too high on chemdog shatter to see reality. Lol.. We'll see....
I love cannabis but I'm of the opinion that most strains would be that much better with some raunchy, fumey, chemy, sinus saturating earth funk mixed in... I know I'm not alone. Some of us seem to possess a certain type of cannabis receptor or combination of receptors that need some diesel fuel ganja to satisfy..
So. Unfortunately, in 06 when I travelled 3000 miles in the friendly skies to make that above mentioned trade...I was told, maybe publicly, that I was trading for "the sister"....That's not what ended up happening. I ended up getting, after waiting for days, my old superskunk back And the chem d, which was crap if you ask me..I'm not going to continue to talk about that, but if that ever happens again... fuck that. Let's all keep this stuff straight. It matters now and it always has.. with the ability
To identify and measure single terpenes and terpenoids, faking it or lying about it, will simply not be possible.
With that being said, I'm ready to take her out of the shadows and let her mingle. I want to make it to some of the cups this year and check it out, share some chemdog flowers and concentrates. I'm Old Skool and that has it's price. But it looks like our side is going to win, it's inevitable, and I want to enjoy that.
What's your thoughts on a good hybrid with the chemdog?
This forum and others have been great. So grateful...
Last pics are mouthwatering, very nice color and thricomes fields. the Real Deal !
Thanks good ole dog for posting back here at IC..
I have a question regardin this Chem'91 cut:
is possible that this cut had been called Original diesel from the NY crew, when it reached there?
What are, in your opinion, the differences between:
Chem D
Chem '91
Chem Sis
Did you ever try crossing chem'91?
Definitely.
Its still called Diesel to this day for the most part.
