ahhhhhh im going crazy just recently i transplanted my seedlings from a small bubbler to my E&F table and everything is wilting like crazy! when i transplanted to the E&F table i mixed a light nute solution ( 1sp>gal of foxfarm veg & bloom ) and a couple of drops of superthrive. this was the plants first exposure to nutes in the water but if you look at the pics the bigger plant in the "bucket" lid was in a dwc bucket and i just threw on the table like so because i didn't want to disturb it anymore (its been through a lot). the point is that that plant has already had the same nute solution in its bucket but now it is wilting like a bitch like the others probably worse. that sort of leaves be to believe that the wilting isnt caused by over fertilizing them.

i dont have anymore good genetics so if my baby dies i'll have to grow bagseed only noooooooooo!!!!!!

If you have just transplated them - be careful of too much light. Maybe lift your light for a couple of days.

Use a very very weak nutrients and rather cool temperatures - not cold, just not too hot.

I'm not that experienced with e&f, but they look like they don't have enough O2 in the root zone. What's your flood schedule?

Just a tip: I would get that ballast away from my res if I were you.

it floods every 6 hours for 30 minutes and the light is 20" away. should it be further? and should i flood less? 3 times a day instead of 4? the light is on 24/7 because of the setup i can't make a dark cycle without a exhaust fan.

when I transplant small plants/cuttings - I keep them well away from direct light for a day or two.

You could look into your flooding time - I cant say, have not used clay balls yet.

Also maybe give the plants half of the nutrients your are giving them now. Later you can give more.

i personally think tyhe culprit cood be the 1ml per gal of h2o..... instead i wood try 1or2 drops per gal not ML's, thats way to much superthrive read the instructions on the bottle drelow51/50

the 1ml of h2o? there is 12 whole gallons of h2o in there :) but the 1ml per gal of superthrive (what i think you meant) is the corret amount. I also want to say that a "drop" (from a eye dropper or any kind of dropper) is ~1ml.

freezerboy: I used a phillips screwdriver to stick about 5 holes in the bottom and there is also about 4 small holes in the sides of the cups (just hard and maybe too small to see in the pictures). I flooded and drained them with hydroton only in the cups first to make sure they did drain before i ever added the plants to them.. when i pick the cups off the table between flood cycles no water drains from the bottom so im pretty sure they drain correctly.

You should put one or two in to some potted soil as insurance. Dedicate one as a bonsai mom and keep it in a 1 gallon pot.

Thats not true wd 1ml is about 8 drops, 5mls is a teaspoon superthrive is very strong 1 drop per gallon is plenty and did you put 1 teaspoon each of veg and bloom or is that total 1 teaspoon for both?
