I have an 8x8 room that I have divided down the middle to make a room for veg and a room for blooming.
Thus far I have painted the room flat white and built the dividing wall from metal studs and I have 4'x8'x1.5" rigid foam Between studs.
The ceiling in the room is currently a drop ceiling that basically is less than air tight. It does have one in heat vent from the furnace.
In the veg room there is a large 1' diameter out vent for the furnace. (The furnace is non functional and will never be functional. I have no idea how to make it work though I could probably get the fan to work.
I can also run new vents through the drop ceiling into my garage and up and out the furnace chimney.
I will have 6 plants on average blooming with a 600w hps and as many as I can fit in the veg room with my 400w metal halide.
My question is.... How would you vent this? How would you deal with the drop ceiling? Door between rooms? Could I vent exhaust through scrubbers into my bedroom to heat my bedroom a little through a floor register? I need to have 0 smell leaking if I do that.
I know this is a scattered post but I will post some pictures later so you can better understand my setup. Thx for the help.
