8'x4' flower/8'x4' auto/veg [Inline/Ducting question]

Once we're able to set up a new grow we're going to have two 8'x4' setups. one a photoperiod flowering tent and the other for autos and vegging/moms. Im thinking of running one 10 in carbon filter for both "rooms." Im thinking this as the set up:

Connect a 10" Y duct splitter to the inline fan.

Connect two 10" ducts to the Y duct splitter and feed one in into one room and one into the other.

Thinking this filter. 850CFM 10" filter could handle both rooms.

This inline fan for the filter. 1065CFM

Would this work? Could I split the line and have it draw enough air flow to filter? I figured 1065 CFM would be enough and maybe increase the flow with the controller if I feel it needs more draw.

Just trying to save on needing two inclines filters, etc.

Thanks, peace.

Mixing the air between the veg and flower rooms can cause issues with the moms flowering regardless of their photoperiod just from the airborne hormones from the flowering plants.
Because of the above if i was doing the build out there would be two independent exhausts.
Running a "scrubber" in the flower area would be worthwhile too.
good luck

Should work pretty good. If the fan/scrubber are on the outside of the tent pulling air from both tents that is, which is what i'm sure you were talking about. Same question has been answered in the ventilation 101 thread many a times. Technically that setup would work good in an 8'x8' room right, so splitting the rooms with a Y should work as well.

Maybe even add 2 dampers in each tent, so you can control the flow to both of them.
