What's new

800watts and a table with a bunch of weed grwoing on it...

thats pretty much what my setup is. check it out and give me feedback on how to improve and such... Im new to the fourms and i just thought i'd share my experience with you all. I been usin this setup as is for about 3 years with no major problems except it gets a little hot during the summer months and sometimes the res. temps will get to high so i can only grow soil. Besides that i've only had spider mites once, three years ago on my first grow.

right now im growing speed queen, strawberry cough, willie nelson, and some cheese. Theres a couple other mixed seeds in there too. Im using Gh 3 part formula with root 66, hygrozyme, thrive alive b-1, floralicious plus, and flumag every other week. For my soil plants im using fox farm nutes with senzisym and b-1. I plan to use kool bloom or big bud along with carbo load and sweet leaf and overdrive during bloom as well.

Now for the pics of the main flower room. These guys are all between 2-3weeks old from seed. In these you can see my main setup and some close ups of my DWC buckets and my soil plants.

GIVE ME FEEDBACK GUYS!!!!!!!
HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!!!
I'll show you the veg and baby flower room next!

You say that you have to run soil because of res temps in the hot months, just wondering what those temps might have been.

Another question... it seems that you have that 400watt pretty high up. Running this setup for 3 years I assume you have it perfected, but I was wondering do you get any unwanted stretch with having that light so high above? Or am I keeping my light to close???

Also do what size container do you finish veggin (and bloomin) those ladies in. Or do you keep them in those containers???

Looks good, and with running that setup for 3 years Im sure you have good results.

PS I think we have the same washing machine............Ha HA

well ive been runnin the hydro setup like this for three years this is my first year of soil and as far as the stretching no. you can see in the pics. but usually it is a little closer like the other one is but this seems to be fine.

so here are my 2 veg cabniets. I start em off here and move em into the bigger room. right now though the bigger room is veggin too. eventually this will be the plan for a perpetual harvest. I also have another little box i use for flowering. there are 3 plants in there on 12/12 now but i just put em in yesterday. enough talking :spank: , heres the veg cab pics...

oh and these are brand new to my setup this year. before this i had the t-5s you see hanging in the one cabniet underneath the table thats in the big flower room. it was all covered and ventilated but i changed that when i added the 2nd HPS two years ago.

made some changes yesterday and moved some more plants in to the flower chamber. 5 actually all mixed types of random chronic seeds. Im still veggin the sweet tooth and speed queens to find that perfect mother for clones. I made a 35site bubble cloner for them. I'll upload a picture to show you all but i've never used one before, any input for good results???

Hey Floppy, what kind of temps do you have in the summer? Only reason I ask is because I wrapped my res's with an insulation stuff called reflectix.... Im not SURE if it helped but i think it did.
I recently made a little bubble cloner as well. I actually took clones from my sweet tooth that has been vegging for 2 weeks because I was running out of space in my veg chamber. The clone I got was very Indica looking in it's leaves, but it is stretching like a sativa. Anyway, I tried using Clonex cloning gel on 2, and did not use anything on 2 others. I shaved the sides and made a /\ cut in two of my stems as well, one with clonex and one without, to see what worked for me. I also put 1 drop of superthrive and used 5.8 PH adjusted RO water. The shaved stem clone that had NO clonex cloning gel showed roots in 5 days. The unshaved stem without Clonex came second, with the 2 having clonex on the stems developing a booger on them.... lol! So I guess MY personal experiment showed that plain old water, shaving the stem a bit rooted fastest (maybe I used too much cloning gel?). I also bought a heating pad to place under my cloner, which I have read in these forums to be the best thing to do to help yourself if you are having cloning probs.

Hey smokesalot420, just wanted to say that I use a Ez cloner for cloning and it works great. I used to have some problems but just like you I purchased a heating mat and VOILA....EVERYTHING I put in there sprouts roots (never figured out how long it takes but Its not that bad) And all I use is my same GH 3 part Veg mix Super diluted. I think the heat mat help me out the most. Anyways

Yeah I left the clones in there with the "boogers" from the clonex and the roots just grew above where the cloning gel was! Haha The roots are coming from everywhere BUT where the cloning gel was applied? Too funny in my book....
But as hehateme said, the heating mat can only help!

well the temps right now are between like 67-75 depending on time of day and how much i run the fans but in the summer its like 90 degrees. Also about your bubble cloner when you put the cuttings in the bubble cloner where should the water level be in relativity to where the cuttings are??

heres some updates for you guys. there all on week 4 and 5 veg with the exception of a few which are only about a week old.

and some bomb ass shit i cooked for dinner... yummy! :rasta:

this is my bubble cloner all year long in the winter months I use a heat mat but that's it no nutes or additives straight water and air bubbles you have to find what works for you and use it I tried all types of ways to clone and nothing worked for me until I trided a bubbler.I have the stem right above water so the bubbles can burst all over them,in the summer I can get roots in 3 to 7 days but in the winter more like 7 to 14 days... :rasta:

Yeah I have always run a heat mat under my EZ cloner but I turned it off yesterday. The problem that I am having is that I am not running enough plants to keep up with the clones (I always cut the best couple of clones and damn, cuz they have all been rootin) So I have some super duper roots in the cloner and I read that it is best to use the heat pad for new cuts and to not use it once you get some good roots. So I turned it off so we shall see what happens (if they all die I will be sad but I have some more plants to cut so it will go on)

Ok sorry for all the extra typing..........(I've been smoking some of the W/W)

heres an update for you guys, not the best pics but ill put more up on monday or tuesday. i did throw 4 of them into flower and started 2 more in flower today, these pics are from plants in day 11 of flower

and heres a couple of the plants stil veggin

happy new year :joint:

Looking nice bro... As soon as you figure out how to filter out that hps light(yellow light) let me know cuz I need some help with that as well.

Those babes look like the are progressing nicely. Glad to see it.

:dueling:

yeah i've been training a couple of them to bend horizontally so that i get good side growth for those nugs. i now have 6 in flower and tommorow im gonna cover up that frame on the table so that its 2 areas, one veg and one flower. All my cabniets will be consumed with clones here soon so i need a place to keep those mothers so they can keep veggin. As for the rest of the crew i dont know if i'll start them on 12/12 tommorow or wait another week.

and they just keep gettin bigger and bigger....

and heres a couple pics of the ones i added into flower.

not the greatest shots but its all i got on the table! I have 6 more plants in a little flowering cab. I'll take a pic of those next so you can see. If I had a better camera you could see the buds better.

And heres whats under the table! A T-5 propogator with some clones and seedlings next to the ballasts to keep them between 69-74degrees throughout the day.

I'll upload the flower cab. pics next :rasta:

So before I show these pics of the flower cabniet heres a little recap. When I started this thread I had 3 cabniets and the table. Now I've just got the table with 2 400 watt hps lights hanging from it and i have my t-5 compact flouro under the table as a veg chamber for seedlings and clones. Right now both the table and the veg chamber are on 16/8. everyday though i take the 3 plants that are flowering on the table and move them in and out of the dark at 9am and 9 pm so they stay on there 12/12 sched. I also am running my little flower chamber with 6 plants in it. My goal is to get some sort of perpetual grow going using this setup. I wanna have a cabniet or 2 for mothers, then a flower cabniet and use the table for flowering and underneath it for veggin clones. so im ranting, heres the pics.

heres the actual cab again

and the ladies...

Bro whats going on, hows everything on your side?

Sounds like some tedious work with changing those flowering plants out of the light, but that is definetly a good sign of a good parent for the lil ladies. Im interested to see how everything turns out. I like the small perpetual grows. Sounds like things are getting going nicely so keep us updated bro.

Happy Growin
