8 inch vortex Q

So Ive got my 8 inch vortex setup with 2 silverstars (also ducted for 8 inch) with about 15 feet or so of duct, in a straight line, and my room temps are 69 above the lights and 71 below. I notice at the intake side (passive) I dont have a lot of air pull, just sort of a little sucking breeze. This doesnt seem right to me coming from an 8 inch vortex. Its cooling the room alright with 1 1000 watt and 1 600 in the hoods. Ive got my a/c blowin but its set at 71. I think I may have sucked a small piece of attic insulation down the duct and into the fan but that should have sucked right through or stopped the whole fan, right?

look inside the fan and find out !
they dont clog up normally and its the same for all grow fans .... the intake side has no pull as long as the out take side(blowing bit) is blowing fine it dont matter

when you construct any grow room put a sheet of fine satin /mosquitto netting at the end of any ducting ... will stop bugs and particles entering the grow space

thats netting is also the dogs bollox for using for DIY drying racks

Try using some smoke outside of the intake and watch the result. 15' of 8" ducting is a big long pipe, you might not hear or feel much but it is still moving the same volume not just the same pressure as the exhaust side.

the smoke worked like a charm, I also found the duct sucked up against the wall really hard and had some pull to get it back off so Im sure its workin strong. thanx guys.
