The medical marijuana industry is bringing green to Colorado.
The state made $7.34 million in fees from the more than 700 dispensary owners who applied for their state license by the state-set Aug. 1 deadline. The state also received approximately 1,300 license applications for growing operations or related medical marijuana businesses.

I dont know of any other industry that the regulatory body starts with that much capital. Its interesting how they always say its not about the money, but then we start seeing numbers like these at the beginning, we KNOW its ALL about the MONEY!

ahhh money... makes otherwise "moral" people abandon their stance when it starts to benefits them. The money was always there, but now some smart people realized they could divert it from the black market into the cities' treasury.


Moral is in quotes since it is a subjective term and can mean many different things to different people.

well the deadline is passed to pay to play now. It will be another year before they start taking in new apps and app fees.
