6'x6'

so anyway now my grow space is 6' x 6'. All the lighting i have is 2x 1000hps. Is that too much for the space? and if so, what do you recommend i do with my existing equipment. I have 2x vortex 6" . I'm hoping to run a filter and then the two lights inline with one vortex. what do you think?

its not to much light, but the 6x6 isnt necc ideal for that area, but def woth putting 2 in there...

since a 1k can cover 4x4 (some people use 4.5x4.5 if growing SOG) place the hoods to where the light coverage goes out from the wall....like you could put the 2K right next to each other, but long ways....so side to side each 1k gets only 3x3....but from front to back (where the better light coverage is if hod are placed that way) yo'u can make it 4' or 4.5'

then you would have 1.5-2' x 6' space extra for the scrubber, fans, etc

i cooled 3k cool hoods with 8" vortex, so the 6" should work perfect to cool 2k

that would be a good setup....having a filter standing in the corner, with the vortex on top of the filter pushing air out....then get ducting attached to it, then attach to both lights and exit out somewhere

thats if ur not using co2 of course....and have the air pushing through tubes....so that way if there is a leak it wont get sucked out, air can just get pushed in.

you could use the other 6" vortex for the intake so the outake/intake would be the same...

or use one 6" to vent just the cool tubes (like air coming in from somwhere else and pushing back through) and the other 6" on a scrubber that just recirculates in the room....seal the room up...get co2

this is my plan really. I do hope one day to get co2, but i dont think that I have all else right yet as i am a semi-noob! But one day, i plan to. I gotta figure out this strain w/o the co2 first.

yeah as long as the passive airflow is good, that would be best to get to know everything a little before trying to push things..

when i had passive intake going though my box...i borrowed my friends co2 tester/censor jiust to see what the levels were, and it was 1200 ppm, w/o co2, compared to the 500pp reading it got at his place..

i was in an apartment complex, so i dont know if that had something to do w/ it.....but i think it was mainly the 3 ft glass bong constant bong ripps that was making that levels go up???

i know now when im in my room for a while the ppm/co2 will rise.....so i think blowing all the bong ripps in the living room made its way through the intake and just kept recirculating

because i know if i sit in the room long enough and talk the ppm goes up..so ithink massive bong ripps = big ppm haha
