Hey everyone I had a question on my current grow. I have some seedlings(2 sets of leafs, 4 total) and they were in 2x2 rockwool cubes. Once roots a good amount of roots started showing on bottom, I put them in the 6x6 cubes. They have been in them for about 9 days now in the flood table with 2x daily cycles. I have also been doing small top feeding at that time.
Yesterday I put a black/white plastic cover over the table that covers the rockwool so only the plants/stem are visible. My reason was to prevent any type of alge that would form from any possible left over water. It looks like this:
This morning/today the seedlings looked a little droopy and I was wondering if that could be due to over watering? Then I was wondering if its even a good idea to cover the cubes like I did because now they are in a humid environment and dont dry out as easy.
Is that going to be a problem? I was hoping as more roots developed they would help with moister problems by actually drinking the water. Though that is just a guess.
What do you think? Thanks!
