Hey friends, been growing for nearly 2 years now, I use soil (roots organic) and supplement it with Fox Farms trio nutes (grow big, tiger bloom, big bloom) when necessary. For this grow I have been using Roots Organic Trinity Bio Catalyst (http://www.aurorainnovations.org/trinity.html) instead of the Big Bloom. It has molasses and more P than big bloom and is supposed to help impart more flavors/aromas. Well see...
Here is a picture of my last grow, chopped in august. It was HSO Trainwreck from seed. Huge yield and top shelf smoke. I think I pulled 6 oz. from two plants:
Here is my flower room with currently 2 girls in the process of fattening up nicely. On the left is AK47 by Serious Seeds and on the right is Blue OG from G13 Labs:
They are about 5 weeks into flower and I plan on giving them at least 3 more weeks before they get the axe.
Here is up close on the blue og:
and the AK-47:
This is actually my very first scrog. I typically use LST and dont trim anything so this was quite different. Im not sure if im going to stick with it because it has its own pros and cons but im reserving my judgement until I finish this grow at least. Anyway, here is an upskirt shot of my SCROG'd girls:
Over on the Veg side, we have two healthy girls and a few clones going under a Tek 4 T-5 ballast. The T5s are what I started growing on and while they dont match the power of an HPS in flower, they simply cant be beat in Veg/root development. Also they have the benefit of being cool and energy efficient:
^^^the big gal in the back is Skunk #11 from Dutch Passion and the young girl up front is Dinafem's White Widow. All 5 clones are from the skunk. It is my first attempt at cloning and so far so good. Im using rock wool in pH adjusted water under a dome and I have a heating mat underneath. Its been roughly 6-7 days since they were cut and they all seem to have roots developing inside the rock wool. I think another week and I should have some viable girls for transplant:
That's it for now. I plan on keeping this thread updated periodically if there is enough interest.
Happy growing
