600w ebb/flow Dark Room. Wht widow, Hog's Breath

Day 2 into flowering.

Here is a general set up of my grow tent. (Secret Jardin DR120 3'9" x 3'9" x 6'5")

1) 600 hps light set up

-Hortilux eye bulb
-sunsystem reflector hood
-250 cfm duct fan attacked to the hood with 6" ducts for intake/outflow

2) Circulation in the tent

-275 exhaust Can Fan /w Can filter (damn thing is like 3 times more powerful then my 250cfm duct fan)
-cheap honeywell intake fan. (going to replace it with a 250cfm duct fan)


3) Hydro Setup

- 3'x3' ebb/flow /w 15 gallons of OR water in reservoir there atm.
- 20 lb co2 with electric regulator, and 10 feet of tubing.

Here is my timer schedule. please comment.

Timer #1 (Light+light vent)
9pm-9am(on)

Timer #2 (Feeding)
4x 10 mins at a time.
takes about 4 mins to flood the tray.

Timer #3 (Co2)
6x 10 mins at a time.
co2 pumping at .75 cfh

Timer #4 (Tent Ventilation - intake/exhaust)
On 24/7 except for the 6x 20 mins off time for the co2 to take effect. (10 mins longer then the co2, because i want to let the co2 marinate the plants.)

Temperature/Humidity
High 82/65%
low 70/45%


PH at 5.8
PPM at 700

I HAVE THE SAME SETUP 3X3 HOME BOX,2FEET X 3FEET EBB&FLOW TABLE, 600WATT HPS, AIRCOOLED HOOD, 4" EXHUAST FAN IN TO A CAN FAN, TIMER ETC.

WHAT ARE TEMPS LIKE WITH THE HUT CLOSED?

Yes i do. I am trying to get it up atm
I do my light on during 9pm to 9am, and since it's cali weather, it can get a bit cold during night. so the temp get's to ge around 70-78 during light on. and 65-73 during light off. during day time.

do u split ur feeding and co2 timming evenly?

i need post count to submit pix?

haha thanks. ive never grown shit in my life, this is my first gorw.I spend the past 3 weeks collecting all the hardwares and finnaly got it up 3 days ago. Also survivied 3 final exams during the 2nd week of it. lol. But it's all up and worth it. YCWANG, I SEE THAT YOUR TRYING TO COVER THE ROCKWOOL, WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IS, GO TO THE HYDRO STORE A PICK UP SOME POT'S AND PUT THE ROCKWOOL IN SIDE THE POTS THEM BACK FILL WITH THE CLAY ROCKS, THEN YOU COULD AVIOD THE LIGHT HITTING THE ROCKWOOL AND ALSO YOU CAN ROTATE THE PLANT ASS NEED. ONE MORE THING IT'S LESS WORK WHEN YOU HARVEST TO PICK UP ALL THOSE DAMN ROCKS.

OH YOU REALLY ONLY NEED TO FLOOD ABOUT 3 TIMES ADAY FOR 15 MINS LIGHTS ON, NO FLOODING WHEN LIGHTS OFF.

those are some good tips piffdaddy. haha thanks alot. i was always curious about when to flood the tray. now it seems to be clear. makes sense to only flood during light on.

i have some of those black 6" net pots. but the rockwools are like falling apart and shit. they were originally in 3' slabs and were cut up to smaller blocks when they were given to me. i am scared to replant them, cuz i don't want to disrupt the root system. i tried once before, and when i lifted a piece, that shit almost broke in half.

I WOULD NOT USE THOSE 6" NET POT CAUSE THEN THE ROOTS WILL GROW OUT ON TO THE TRAY AND YOU DO NOT WANT THE ROOTS GETTING LIGHT! GO TO THE HYDRO STORE AND PICK UP 5" POTS, I HAD THAT PROBLEM WITH THE ROCKWOOL WHEN SOME ONE HAD GAVE ME TWO MOTHER PLANTS AND I DID NOT LIKE THE ROCKWOOL SO I PULLED OFF THE ROCKWOOL CAREFULLY NOT BREAKING TO MANY ROOTS AND THEN JUST TRANSPLANT THEM IN TO THE POT BACK FILLING THE POT WITH THE LIL ROCKS, THEN JUST CONTINUE THE FLOOD AS NORMAL. IF YOU GET THOSE POT'S THAT I'M TELLING YOU ABOUT THE WATER WILL FLOOD THRU THE HOLES ON THE BOTTM OF THE POT'S! AND YOUR GOOD TO GO.

heya piffdaddy,
those are some good tips, i will definitely use those pots for my next grow. i've fimmed 6 of the plants so far. The first 4 i fimmed, i noticed alot of growth on the lower branches, filled up the area alot better. So i fimmed 2 more as they reaches the size. Gonna wait few more days for the rest to catch up in size then fim or top them.

how are your ladies doing?
