Indoor out of season auto bud grow
Hi guys i am starting a grow of autoflowers stricly to show the usefullness of the yield by numbers i have been gifted 100 fem auto white widow.
i will be using 2 x 600w hps, and i like to use 5.5litre extra deep squared pots for maximum plants in a small place i think they are 15cm wide x 26cm deep.
i am currently germinating the seeds, but will do a step by step progress in detail grow log.
i hope to average around 20grams of bud per plant so i get 1g per watt ratio. This is the least i am wanting from this. i usually start my autos on 24/0 for the first 3 weeks and then 18/6 to finish. i will be feeding them canna nutes and canna proffesional peat for medium.
on this pacific run i will try to grow them as basic as possible to try to show that autoflowering plants are very easy to grow.
i will start my seeds off in jiffy pellets and then transfer straight to 5.5ltr pots............
My usual outdoor auto harvest schedule
i am usually a outdoor grower using a simple indoor setup for the first 2 weeks of every grow to start my rotational harvests, i normaly harvest every four weeks anywhere from 20 - 50 auto ak47's, i do varie my auto strains alot in the outdoor season but these are the best strains for yield and smoke.
my method is simple: i start them off indoors and germinate every other week labelling and harvesting them in rotation. 2 weeks indoors started and after harvest start new seeds, move plants outside and then re-harvest ive found using stickers of diffrent colours for your pots works best and noting watering/feeding in a growers diary is best 4 keeping up with the grows etc.
using the 8/9 weeks that is autoflowering hybrids grow/flower time this helps my methods as the light schedule of automatics doesnt effect them in a sense that they autoflower.
this is a great way for multiple harvests every year outdoors all the way to end of october thats nearly 7 harvests i can get if i start mid march. you do not have to have so many plants as i grow as i have seen it done with 5-10 plants also. whatever suits your needs is good enough. i average 300 - 500 grams per harvest which isnt bad 7 times over. it maybe a little more work but hey i love growing this lovely strain dont you? and the results are very rewarding.
dont be fooled and think space is a gunna be a factor this can be done in a very small space if you use 5ltr deep pots and jiffy pellets to start out indoors.
autoflowering has solved the way my friends and i harvest in the horrible northern climate summers we have and gives everyone the oppurtunity to get a decent smoke for the year in my eyes theres nothing that can beat this active growing. you can even make the harvests shorter or longer in between depending on what your wanting from this.
either way thanks for all those who are going to be coming along for the automatic ride indoor and out.
Peace
